Well, you are correct, even after x7 MSD the MF quoted is .00151 They also haven't corrected the 36/10k to the 36/12k we asked for.

Furthermore, the "Customer Cash" they quoted as a Discount/Rebate was actually mostly made up of the MSD rollover amount. Actual rebates are $2500 (Fleet, Loyalty, College Grad)

What are "Cap Fees"? Is that the loan origination fee? I see Acquisition Fee of $925 a few lines above, which I assume is the BMWFS charge. I don't see Delivery & Handling anywhere. Or am I confusing them?

Cap fees could be dealers fees, and who knows what else. Ask them for a breakdown.

The math is correct, and the MF markup is adding about $22/mo to the payment.

I'd also look for a bigger discount from sticker - we suggest 7%, before incentives.

Here's the dealer's counter. Price dropped to $64,810, all incentives remain in place. 9% off sticker. My math adds up to around $745/month, they are at $848. Can't see where the discrepancy is at... Sales tax is paid upfront.

The Gross CAP number in the left hand column doesn't include the sales tax. (which is dumb, because it says taxes are CAPPED).

The $6798 applied upfront is the $5950 security deposit + 1st payment

$66659 gross cap (doesn't include tax)
+$1805 tax (tax is not paid upfront)
- $1651 cap reduction
= $66813 net cap

That results in the exact payment they've provided.

Yes, that is correct. A lower residual will result in a higher payment, all else being equal

But, to offset that adjustment to the residual, you want a bigger discount from sticker - we suggest 12-15% (for new BMW's, we target 7% off sticker)

I see a $2500 rebate, $356 mileage adjustment (1926 miles on the car), license fee 23, doc fee 80, bank fee 925, cash down 2039,83. RV 58%, MF .001660. The payment is $579 before tax and 634.33 with tax.

Given the recommendation of 12-15% off sticker less rebate I should be targeting 48,708 (15% off, 2500 rebate)? Should the recommended downpayme payment just be covering required fees?

In CA, just first payment and DMV costs due at signing. Add everything else into the lease payment.

Residual adjustment should be $481.50 (.25/mile)

Base MF of .00166 is good, however.

I agree with your pricing strategy; see what the dealer says.
