I do not see a 2019 X5 forum yet so I am posting here...

I was looking for MF, residual, etc... on a 2019 X5 50i for 36 mo/12k miles.
Just started negotiations and received a purchase price of 4.5% off of MSRP without any rebates/discounts yet.

Also, does anyone know if I have to be current Costco member to receive a discount, or can I simply just go become a member and the discount will apply?

That is the $2750. The rest of the incentive is made up by the high residual.

Illinois collects sales tax upfront. That's why they are "Capped" (rolled into the lease payment).

Not sure why they show fees twice, either. Unless it's two sets of fees. (the amounts are slightly different). If you are paying them upfront (which you are), then they shouldn't be in the CAP cost.

The residual bump is 3%, because you are leasing for 10K/yr, rather than the standard 15K/yr.

The odometer over adjustment to the residual is because it's a service loaner? With 4100 miles?

Thanks. Just to clarify Illinois doesnt collect sales tax upfront, its only cook county / City of chicago. That law was changed in 2015.

Just to clarify... The amount of state tax changed in 2015. But, it's still collected upfront.
(Sum of payments taxed, now.. vs. full selling price, previously)

The City of Chicago taxes the monthly payment, and that's collected monthly.
