1-For eastern PA, can I get MF/R for 2018 Macan GTS? 2-Possibly may get the car from dealer in Atlanta. If that would affect the rates, can you also provide them for that area?
Thanks!
So far as we know, the Porsche numbers are national.
What lease term and how many miles per year?
My bad. I asked the question, then forgot to check back with you. Sorry! I am talking to a dealer in Atlanta, GA, about a 2018 Macan GTS. 36/12
I live in Pennsylvania, and our sales tax is 9% on a lease car.
Perusing your latest answers from October, I think the MF is .00250, Res 60%.
The car is MSRP $82,840. They agreed to a 9% discount, making the cap cost $75,384.40.
I calculated a payment of $1118.42 [made up of lease pmt $1026.07+ sales tax $92.35]
When I emailed that payment to the dealer for confirmation, they said it looked low but they would get back to me.
Did I calculate it right?
(I am supposed to leave Friday morning to get the car Saturday and want to avoid any surprises.)

8:10-Just got a phone call from the finance guy. He swears .00330 is the MF for a Macan GTS, and said the .00250 is incorrect. Maybe the GTS is leasing at a higher MF?
I assume the dealer is marking the money factor up- .00250 is ridiculous high % as-is via PFS. More $ for the dealer at .00330. Have him prove this figure is "true" for October's money factor via PFS. Doubt he will be able to.

.00280 MF is the base rate for the 4th Quarter 60% residual for 36/12
That's $1064+tax
Assuming acquisition, dealer and DMV fees are paid upfront. GA dealers charge some hefty dealer fees I think the PFS acquisition fee is $995.

Kyfdx-That’s exactly where I ended up.
To update this, the sales manager called me this morning after I told them I wasn’t taking the deal if they insisted on .00330. He said they would write it at .00280.
Then he said he “always quotes tier 2 or 3 credit rates because if they have a high credit score it’s easier to tell the customer the payment will be lower, than the other way around.” My thought was that sounds better than, ‘We always try to bump the rate and sometimes customers don’t realize it.’
Anyway this worked out great with the help I got here, and I got a 9% discount on a GTS which are hard to find with the equipment I wanted. Once I filtered for a trailer hitch and heated steering wheel, the inventory almost disappeared.

Congrats on the new Porsche!
One more thing I think is good to at least know and consider on these leases. Porsche prepaid maintenance plans are cheaper than paying out of pocket at the time the service is performed.
Porsche offers the first year’s service free. If you buy what they call a “Plus 1” maintenance plan [$740], it covers the second year. BUT, here is the good part...Porsche adds 1% to the residual when you buy that Plus 1, which on an $80,000 car makes that plan “free”. So my 36/12 GTS lease which would have had a residual of 60% became 61%.
What is the MF reduction for one pay leases? Thank you for your time. Edmund's Forums have proved to be an invaluable resource. I truly appreciate your hard work.

I'm not 100% certain, but I think it's .00050 for 24 months, and .00060 for 36 months
From those who have leased a Porsche, what have you hit in terms of dollars off MSRP? Coming from Bimmers with below invoice sale prices pre incentives so just trying to prepare myself. Thanks!

Hi All, can you confirm/counter the math from this dealer's quote. I sense I am being sent BS:
$59,960 MSRP $52165 Sell Price 39/Months, 10k/Year, 59% residual $599 doc fee .00250 - MF - I am told 6% Sales tax on sale price, MD registered $754/month w. $2500 down & says "I included 2 services." Shouldn't the residual be 60 or 61% with included services % bump?
Dealer has $3333 in "payoff" section of lease worksheet. I am Not trading a car though tells me "this will cover the taxes and inception from MD..." ??
"$2500" DAS = $754/month.
These numbers do not add up. I get $688/month with doc fee, acquisition + first month payment at signing @ 59% residual, no maintenance included.

Excuse the long post and thanks for your input!
"including two services" may not mean the same thing as purchasing the maintenance plan, therefore no residual bump.
.00250 MF and 59% residual I take it you aren't buying in MD? Doc fee there is restricted to $300, I think.
I am not following the math. ~$2500 = (Acquisition-995, MD DMV fees-300, 1st payment-688, Revised Dealer Doc Fee-$299) is put down at signing, this yields a payment of $688/month with 6% tax, total. Will ask what adjusted CAP cost is being used.

If you want the math to work, don't try to allocate the $2500.
Add up all of the costs, then subtract what's leftover from the $2500 after deducting the first payment.
never looked at porsche leases, but the MF really surprised me, it is very high. does porsche offer any methods to reduce the MF? for example with bmw i could do security deposits that would refund and drop the MF.

$52165
+$3130 tax
+$300 MD DMV
+$995 acquisition fee
+$599 doc fee
= $57189
$2500 DAS minus $754 payment = $1746
$57189 - 1746 = $55443 adjusted CAP
That gives me $742/mo.
That's not $754, but it's a lot closer than $688/mo.
But, I estimated some of those numbers.
Ask for the actual adjusted CAP cost.
