I know in other forums you guys have provided a recommended starting point for negotiations (e.g. start at 6% off MSRP) and then factor in lease cash. Do you have any recommendation for Chevy Volts ? (N. California, Premier, 36/12).

What is the best deal on a 2018 Volt right now (best deal as in best residual and MF). I'm curious which models have the highest residual. And any cash offerings from GM? I see $3250 lease cash? Plus the 7500 for EV vehicles. That's over 10K off the car! Shouldn't be hard to land a sale with that.

There is only a 1% difference in the residual between the LT and Premier trims - 48% (LT) vs. 47% (Premier) for 36/15

Sorry, the $3250 is that portion of the $7500 that GM Finance passes along to the customer. They aren't additive.

And, the incentive on the Premier is $2875

Only the 36 month term is supported, this month.

If the car is stolen or totaled during the lease, you will lose that up front cash.

a) they are using a bank that isn't GM Financial
b) greed - they are marking up the MF for more profit
