Correct on the approximate money factor.

The $3000 is Red Carpet Lease cash. It's a consumer incentive.

I thought I got the deal I wanted but when I went to sign the papers, they pulled my credit and said they have to mark up the apr because I wasn’t approved for Tier 1. They said it’s up to FC not them. Just curious, can the dealer override this and give me the lowest MF? If not, can they find a way (lower price, throw in more incentives) to offset the difference? 

Sorry for all all the questions. I don’t want to walk out and risk losing the deal if it would be the same at other dealers.

Lower credit generally results in a higher MF/APR.

They can do those things, but will they do them? Only way to know is if you ask.

On an explorer Platinum I am getting .6% APR and 2750 lease cash for a 36mth lease. How much of a discount from MSRP should/could be expected also? I am seeing over $6K in dealer reductions online. Are you able to combine and get deals done?

Those are the correct numbers for the Seattle area.

I was able to get $6800 off of MSRP + 2750 in lease cash + .6 % apr on lease on 2018 Platinum. Payment with $5k equity on my trade was $389 including tax for 36 mths 12k with ZERO out of pocket.
