As noted, there isn't much to like about this deal, especially on a JK.

Why is the gross cap cost a range?

And, you don't want to put up any cash beyond the first payment and registration costs; anything else is at risk if the car is stolen or totaled.

To answer your question about the gross cap cot range, the $34,555 is the agreed value of the vehicle and the $3570. is the total after you add the acquisition fee to the $34,555.. You stated the base acq. fee is $895 for 48 month, so why would I be charged $1195.? I forgot to mention, we have a credit score of 800, excellent rating. The reason for putting more cash is to get lower monthly payments, so we are told. I do not want a 48 month lease but again they said it brings down the monthly payments. This deal did not look good to me but I am no expert, they were talking about the residuals on our vehicle is good and when we come to the end of lease we could probably be able to sell it and make some money. Hmmm, on that one. Thanks again.
P.S. what is the Standard MF?

Dealer can mark up the acquisition fee, though it's not something we see very often with Jeep. Guess you found the worst Jeep dealer in the country.

We generally advise against longer leases, but the Wranger is an exception, given the strong residuals.

Money down to lower the payment doesn't change the total cost of the lease; it just fools you into thinking you have a lower payment.

Seems like a lot. The Unlimited would probably be less per month, but that doesn't matter, if it's not the one you want.

Taxes and fees can add up to a lot. Is the acquisition fee or filing fee included in that Total CAP cost? If not, that isn't much of a discount, though I like the money factor and residual, compared to a Chrysler Capital lease.

Sorry, total newbie here. Hooked on the wrangler for the look and feel and now looking to lease one of our own.

We looked at Wrangler Sport JL 2018 today and were shocked at what was offered. Credit not awesome, but not horrible (650 score)- and dealer told us they could get us a $620/month lease on a MSRP 40,625 model with very little incentives. 12k/ 36 months. That’s with an additional 3k down. We’re a little upside down on our trade in (about $4K), but we purchased it from the same dealer so they seem to want to make a deal. When I read here about MF and residuals, I was lost. They did not share any of that with us even after 4+ hours haggling at the dealership. Please help! We need to turn this deal around fast. Thanks in advanced. We are in TX.

And, Texas taxes the entire selling price, so that bumps your payment up, compared to other states.

Hmm- gotcha. When we reviewed prices online, virtually everyone seems to be getting a better deal. Or at least under $550 to get into a Jeep lease. Should we be looking at different models? How’s much does MF and residuals play in as well?

We want a 4-door and they took $1k off MSRP, so not much of a difference. Also- since we are putting 3k down and they are giving us some tax breaks they basically said the trade doesn’t factor in at all. I wonder if that’s the truth though.

$4K is not a "little bit" upside down.. It's a lot.
Texas lease taxes are very high
Lower credit tier.

I'm not sure you can compare your situation to other prices you see on-line. Almost everything about your deal is a negative, in comparison.

One quick way to find out if this is a decent deal? Get some competing offers from other dealers.
