Selling price is a bit hard to understand, but says the following $25,999 agreed upon value of vehicle plus 1014.39 tax and $650 acquisition for a gross cap cost of $27,663.39. Then after rebates, etc, adjusted cap cost was $20,957.77. Hope this is enough info. Know it's after the fact, but might give others an idea and I do have 3 days in case it was total disaster. Thx.

Good job! In the future try to refrain from putting money down on a lease, but enjoy, that's a nice price!!

Just here to give an update on the deal I got - special thanks to Michaell for providing me with the right information so I went into the dealership knowledgeable and prepared.

I leased a 2018 Hyundai Tucson SEL Plus for $255/month, $700 down in prepaid taxes (would have been $278 with $0 down). Sticker price was $29900. I received a $2900 discount + $6500 lease cash for a final "purchase" price of $20500. I took this price to two other Hyundai dealerships and neither could come close to it. Hope this helps others in their search!

If your FICO is 760, then you are Top Tier.

They could be using a different scale.

Have the dealer cut you a check for the equity, and keep the down payment in your pocket. That money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled. Pay only the first payment and registration costs up front. Better to have a lower up front cost and a higher payment.
