Can someone tell me why my calculations below are not returning $733 monthly payment? I am sure its because of the tax being paid before in OH but dont know how/where to plug that number.

4. Negotiated selling price of car: $56,416.00
5. Add in fees: $330
6. Add lines 4 and 5 to get gross capitalized cost: $56,746.00

8. This is your adjusted capitalized cost: $55,246.00
9. Subtract the residual value from adjusted capitalized cost.This is your depreciation amount: $25,236.00
10. Divide the depreciation amount by number of months in your lease. This will be your base payment: $600.86
12. Add the adjusted capitalized cost and the residual value. Take the sum and multiply it by money factor. This is your monthly rent charge: $98.04
13. Add the rent charge to your base payment to get your pretax lease payment: $698.90

You've added $2300 in fees?
Where is that number coming from? Is that the taxes?
If it is the taxes, then you don't calculate taxes on the payment at the bottom, as you've already added them to the CAP cost.
What about the $795 acquisition fee?

Is this 10K/yr? 42/10?

Okay... now lets look at the deal.

The money factor is marked up from .00055 base. That adds $53/mo. to the payment
The lease cash for this model is $2750, not $1500.
The $2400 discount seems sort of small on a $58K MSRP car, but it's the rest of it that's killing you.

Hi do you expect the lease cash on the 2018 RX 350 to go up in October? Do you remember last year if it went up in October or in November? Trying to decide if I should do a deal now or wait one more week to see if lease cash will go up hopefully to 2500.

I just checked the 2017 thread and it looks like the cash in September 2017 was 2000 and increased to 2500 in October. Looks like it’s worth waiting a week.

The residual is only 2% less for 39 months, so the payment may work out in your favor for that term.

It's a very small difference.. Likely $10/mo, at most.
