Dealer can mark up the MF for extra profit.

Tell them you want the base MF, or you'll find a dealer who will give it to you.

Looking at typically optioned dealer lot examples, plus also the F Sport package. Are there any differences in incentives or residuals?

I don't know the single pay details or money factor. It's likely .00001 MF.

But, with the low money factor, you could achieve nearly the same money factor by using the MSD program.

I confirm .00035, 54% and $2750 incentive.

Is the selling price before or after the incentive?

$0 down, or $0 out of pocket? Not the same thing. Are you adding the taxes and fees into the payment or paying it up front? If the latter, then get the adjusted CAP cost from the dealer.

Lexus MSD reduces MF .00008 per, so you can use 4 of them.

$0 down, or $0 out of pocket? Not the same thing. Are you adding the taxes and fees into the payment or paying it up front? If the latter, then get the adjusted CAP cost from the dealer.

Lexus MSD reduces MF .00008 per, so you can use 4 of them.

Selling price before other incentives. After incentives price is 47350 I would pay fees (doc,acquisition,license,title, etc (about $1000 out of pocket) Taxes are wrapped into payment

Yes, you'll get taxed on any CAP cost reduction, whether it's a rebate, cash or equity from a trade.
Also, you'll have to deduct the first payment, before ascribing the rest of your upfront money to CAP cost reduction.

Taxes in NY are all collected upfront. If you pay that out of trade equity, then there is less for CAP reduction, and that will reduce overall taxes. The computer calculates the tax, and adjusts the numbers accordingly, until it all matches. It's sort of like trigonometry. You can do it without the computer program, but it involves trial and error, until you get the right payment and the right tax.

It does all come out the same, except... you may pay a little less tax, and therefore lower your payment by this method (which is the correct way to do it, IMO).

I don't know exactly.... I don't have that computer program.

If I had a spare hour or two, I could probably narrow it down. Just ask the dealer, and see how that compares to what you think it should be.

Yes.. the full payment, including tax, rounded up to the next $25 increment.

So, if your payment is $585/mo, then six MSDs will be $3600.
