I’m looking to lease a 2018 RR Sport 36/10k in Miami.  I’m leasing right now the same car 2015, 36/10k the lease is up in August. I’m paying 900$ Down payment was only Inceptions. From what I’ve heard I didn’t get a good deal on this car. I’m planning to go to the same dealership I leased my car from to see what they offer me now.

My question: if I’m interested in a ~ 75,000$ same RR Sport will I be able to get right now the same 900$ p/month no down payment? Am I in a better position for turning my car to the same dealership I leased it from? I went in January to see prices and they offered me a $1100 lease for a 2017 around 74,000 cost.

What cost should the car be to get same ~ 900$ monthly payment? I understand that the MF is around 0.00245 and 65% residual from what I’ve read here.

Without knowing the selling price of the new car, we can't really help you with what payment is possible.

Lease deals on Range Rovers tend to be in the average to bad category, in general. Dealers seem to be allergic to discounting, and the high MF doesn't help, either.

.00173 MF and 51% residual for 39/12

We don't track pricing, but most members report that they are paying full MSRP on the larger Range Rovers.
I wouldn't consider that a good deal, but if your sale price is full MSRP, then the payment would be $1451/mo.
That assumes all taxes and fees are paid upfront.

If you are looking for the best deal, I'd start by not shopping RR.

RR does offer lower mileage allowances - 7500 and even 5000 miles per year. Though, that can get expensive on a vehicle like this.

36/10 on Sport HSE - 63% and .00221
Add 1% for 7500 miles, or 2% for 5000 miles per year.

With the prices provided, I see $1111/mo plus tax for 10K

TX taxes the entire selling price, even for a lease. OK, I believe, taxes the monthly payment.

I'd ask for a full accounting of the $4882 due at signing.

My 528i had lots of issues so I think I can deal with RR's issues (hopefully I can get a break). What is a reasonable monthly payment for a 2018 RRS V6 or V8? Can I expect to stay under $1K?

It all depends on the MSRP and price you are able to negotiate.

Provide us with those, plus the lease term and miles per year, and we'll see where the numbers take us.

What is the selling price? Same as MSRP?

Why put $25K upfront to rent a car?

Selling price is same as MSRP at least as of now. On that note, I havent seen anywhere that these models are ever discounted.

With the $6357 of fees/taxes and first payment upfront, I get a payment of $1393/mo.
So, that's about $7750 Due at signing.

Subtract $29.50 from $1393/mo. for every $1000 extra you put down. (though, I wouldn't recommend doing that)

Most likely, a massively marked up money factor.

For example, if they marked up the money factor to .00271 from .00171, that would add $150/mo. to the payment. (which looks like exactly what they did)

The leasing bank sets the base money factor. LR dealers can mark up that rate for extra profit. I don’t know the limit of the markup, but we see .00100 markups, frequently, so that might be the limit.

So, if their markup adds $5400 to your total payments, the bank may pay them a bonus. Probably, 70% of that amount, which they get upfront from the bank.

You can negotiate your rate with the dealer, but you can’t get lower than the base rate. You can certainly provide your own purchase financing, but you won’t find an independent source for a lease.

Hello: RR Sport HSE Dynamic and RR Sport Supercharged Dynamic, 36mo/12K lease. Have the MF and RV rates changed as of May 1st here in Rhode Island.
