What trim?

The amount due at signing should be first payment, DMV charges and $80 CA doc fee. No point in pre-paying any other amounts.

Hello, Can and do dealers play with the residuals or are the residuals set by the bank? Yesterday I looked at a 2018 RRS, HSE 3.0L V6 on a 36 mo lease with 15K miles. . MSRP $80,300. Selling Price $78,300. Residual was 58%, money factor .00274, no money down other than first payment and TTL which was about $500. Do these numbers look accurate or should I question the residual and money factor? I was expecting a higher residual percentage. New Orleans, LA

The residuals are set by the bank, and cannot be altered.
Money factors can be marked up for extra profit, as you can see.

I seem to be seeing that the HSE has a higher residual then HSE Dynamic? Is there any reason why that seems to be the trend through out the thread?

Also, on a 2018 HSE dynamic I received a quote of $86,400 MSRP no discount, 36 Month Lease 10k per year. 56% residual .00260 MF drive off of $3,500 totaling a payment of $1,534 in California. That seems horrible. Is it worth even going back to the dealer? first time leasing so any advise is helpful.

It's typical for higher trims to have lower residual percentages. Not just for Land Rover, but all makes.

Your quote has a massive markup to the money factor and no discount. That is typical for Land Rover dealers. But, some customers seem to have to have one, no matter what the cost. That wouldn't be me.

thx!  what bank is that from ?  dealer is quoting 33/10 with chase at .00154 and 63% with 10k miles a year.  certainly the 36/12 at 62% makes sense but I wasnt sure if they even offer a 33/10 ? do they ?  thx again

Chase.. the dealer's quote is the same as the information we gave you.
Add 1% to 12K/yr to adjust to 10K/yr

36/15 and 39/15 - I haven't negotiated a price, but I want to know the price range to probably get 3k off the MSRP. No trade in, so it would be anywhere in Texas, I know there are some discounts in some cities in Texas.
