I just wanted to report our "deal".  We bought a 2018 Nissan Plat with the chrome wheels. No rear ent system.  484 plus tax. Which will be about $20 per month. 12k miles 36 months.  Purchased in central IL.  Hope this helps.  They fought hard....  My co worker bought the same deal in central MO for 510 including tax

When looking at the True Car TruePrice, it shows an average price of $27,315 for this model. Should I be able to negotiate the price near there for a lease? He originally quoted me just under $32k and if I mention the True Car Price, he says well I am not sure how they get that, but that is likely if you were purchasing it.

He is basically telling me that the sale price doesn't matter for a lease.
Total BS. To give him the benefit of the doubt, he may have no idea how a lease is calculated.

I don't know exactly how TrueCar works, but purchase and lease prices can be different, depending on the incentives. The $2300 of incentives we gave you for the lease are customer incentives, that reduce the CAP cost. You should certainly negotiate a discount, in addition to that.
