I found a dealer advertising a selling price of $40,700 on a $53,700 MSRP after all incentives. Luxe AWD. $13k off MSRP. Do you happen to know if the incentives are different for lease vs purchase? Trying to do a lease deal based on the $40,700 selling price..

Hi - I checked my dealer and they assure me the luxe purchase incentive is $6,500 and the lease incentive is only $4,800. (Zip 95762)

Just curious if they’re wrong or is it just arbitrary how they present it to me? Basically, they’re saying to lease the car is $1,700 more than purchase because of the incentive difference.
