So, I just received a breakdown of an offer for a 330i with an MSRP of $44195.
Via email the sales manager communicated that he would take 4k off. So far so good.
Based on the breakdown of the offer the dealership is using 1K of the 4K discount as a rebate.

Now here's where I'd like your guys' feedback. Perhaps this is due to me not being in the business of finance and leases, but these numbers just don't add up for me. (see attachment)

• Line n) - the total MP $569.01 isn't correct and $2.63 more than what it should be when adding line i) and j) up. Small difference, but still.
  
• The the entire rebate calculation on the right just doesn't make sense to us. the 1K suppose to be a discount, but looking at the calc, it is somehow added back into my drive off pymt.
  
  
  Can anyone here make sense of this deal?

I agree with the math on that worksheet, pre-tax.

I agree with you that a 7.75% tax rate should give you $566.39/mo. Ask the dealer about that.

The incentive is for loyalty, and is applied differently.

You are correct, the amount paid in cash should read $1057.01
And, you are correct about the payment, as well.

Sheets like this one aren't like the screenshot of the actual deal. There is no program that makes sure the numbers add up, so they are prone to typos.

Drive-off = money that is used to either pay upfront charges or contribute to CAP reduction.
That money is: Rebate + cash out of pocket.

Yeah, it's the NET CAP that the payment is based on. If you've left out acquisition fee, etc, that could make the difference.

Hi there, question on placing a custom order for a vehicle for a lease.

What prevails for the residual, money factor an incentives/rebates?
Do you get the promotions available when the order was placed or when the vehicle arrives?

Or do you get at a minimum the MF ,residual, and incentives/rebates when you placed the order but if these are better when the car arrives, you get those?

BMW actually gives you the choice of the program when the order was placed or the numbers when the car arrives.

Just need to run the numbers both ways to see which is better for you.
