All,

A huge thanks to everyone's assistance on this board throughout our car search.

Just picked up an MDX SH-AWD with Tech in northern NJ tonight. Ultimately, I negotiated a deal for $520/month with $0 down and first payment DAS for 10K miles/year for 36 months for performance red pearl (upcharge of $400; MSRP of $52,695). Gross capitalized cost was $44,498 with a manufacturer contribution of $1K for my competitive lease.

I then did the one-pay lease, which lowered the MF to .00020. Ultimately, my full out-of-pocket was $15,944.69. Theoretical monthly cost of the one-pay amounts to just under $443/month. I put the max of $3K on my credit card to reap some benefits there, then paid the rest by cashier's check.

Admittedly, the dealers I dealt with didn't do many one-pays and this one had some difficulty getting the final numbers right. When I back into the numbers, it looks like I am right around $507/month with the higher money factor. Wasn't going to argue...

I will say when I was negotiating this, I got to $529/month with $0 down and $0 DAS for the non-upcharge colors (white, silver, blue) fairly easily with a number of dealers (keep in mind this was towards the end of the month). The dealer I ended up going with didn't have a color combination we wanted and offered the red up at no additional charge and at $525/month, and I was ultimately able to get the price a bit more in our favor.

Which looks about right, given your numbers.
You left out the $595 acquisition fee.
