The base MF for the 2019 CX-9 is .00070, not sure how you are getting .00065 from your dealer

This is 98075.  I checked 3 times and they said the MF was .00065.

OK, the Sport FWD is the only trim with the .00065 MF

Sport AWD, Touring, GT and Signature trims all have .00070.

Confirm with the dealer the trim and drivetrain they are quoting you for.

Can I get some help? I went to a dealership with some numbers and they flat out didn't even want to work with me. I tried the following


2019 CX-9 Touring FWD w/ Premium Package
MSRP: $38915
Capitalized cost: $35000 (my offer w/ $0 down)
Residual value percentage: 0.58
Bank/Finance company's money factor: 0.00065
Lease term, in months 36/12k
Zip Code: 92821 (7.75% tax)

So from my calculations this is roughly $412 after taxes.
Both dealerships both just laughed at me and told me that was impossible. That I would have to pay 5000+ DAS to get to $420 a month. They said that was the lowest they will go, so I walked out.

Did I calculate something wrong? Or is it just a bad time of the year to be leasing this car?
