That's what they said but if you look at adj. cap, 0.03782509 tax is included?

I can't tell, because the numbers listed don't add up. They are mixing in purchase and lease numbers to confuse the issue. Also, it looks like they are marking up the money factor from .00001 to .00051.

And, if you don't know if their quote includes tax or not, I'm surely not going to be able to tell.

But, I can tell you for sure, that tax is collected on the monthly payment.
The only upfront tax is on taxable amounts that are collected upfront.
The dealer doesn't have an option on how the taxes are applied or collected.

Ah yes the residual was $16,015 with msrp being $31,402. Sales tax in NJ is currently 6.625 which they were quoting me for $998.81.

Thank you so much for the quick reply! Is this a fair lease given averages in my area and the info given? I feel like it is but I’m hesitant. I’m coming off a 2016 Honda Accord EX-L for 334.57 a month but that was for 39 months with 15k.

With your numbers, I get roughly $388/mo.

Even if the price is fair, the Camry doesn't lease that well. Of course, the new Accord isn't leasing that well, either.

If you want $360/mo, with $1800 due at signing, just tell them that, and see what happens.

Is this due to the lack of incentives for these cars or are there better values out there? I have a 2016 Camry coming off lease the end of December and it seems TFS is pretty stingy on the incentives. In years past they've waived payments and thrown lots of cash to get me into another car. After 11 leased Toyota's, it's forcing me to look at other cars.

Hello (Yes, I'm all over the place when it comes to cars b/c I haven't made my mind.... ).

I got the following numbers for a 2019 Toyota Camry LE (non-hybrid), 36/12, zip code 90049. When I run them through a lease calculator, the number don't quite add up, but I'm really new to running the numbers, and perhaps I'm not doing this right (I haven't able to get the numbers to come out correctly for any of the deals I'm running through the calculator).

MSRP: $26,734
Cap cost: $23,250 cap cost
RV: 55%
MF: .00034 MF

$615 drive off
$271 plus tax
$297 total

I know that Toyota deals aren't great in general, but this looks pretty good.

BTW, thanks to all of the people running this forum! It's amazing!!! (and I feel like a way better informed consumer)
