I'd want to know what that $249 "Other" fee is.

And, I've never seen an MSRP that wasn't a round number - why does the sheet show the vehicle cost as $24,009.20?

Yes, the fees and insurance looks suspicious. Maybe they are trying to sell you GAP insurance? But I think Honda covers that?

The discount isn't that big, anyway, considering the $1200 Honda to dealer incentive

Dealer fees keep getting bigger and bigger in CT and MA.
$599 for nothing, and $250 for some $20 VIN etching, I'll guess.

With the $1600 dealer-incentive and .00065mf we wanted that 1600 and SUNROOF in the EX but...

... the climate control touch-face was a lousy: unnecessary complication when driving along at highway speed - even the base Civic is better. Some dedicated HR-V web forums alerted us to this, and we experienced it on the test drive (some youtube videos helped inform as well). Went with the LX with $1200 incentive and tactile knobs.

Attention: THANK-YOU's to @kyfdx and @Michaell for supporting us all among the many, MANY forums here at Edmunds with the essential information (and especially for the sub-660 money factor info)! Credit was on the edge but dealer offered Super Preferred/Preferred +660.

Though the incentive for the LX was $2000 Labor Day, the MF at .00135 was substantially higher. The ability to wait a few months worked out for us even with $800 less LX incentive.

Sell at 19015.46 plus Dealer Doc = effective sell of 19159.46 from MSRP of 21565.00 LX 2WD 12k/36.

35 months at 211.40/month (230.43 with lousy 9% 19.03 lease tax) + 529.85 inception = effective 238.75/month with that 9% tax added/month. It is what it is per state, though.

Spreadsheet below of final agreement (funny cap cost reduction of of $32.53, huh?)

There is only ONE dealer for every make of car on this island. And the Honda dealer quoted me a lease payment of HR-V EX not even floor mats included...Trade in of my civic for $2000, $4500 cash down and lease payment of ~$210 including taxes. 36 mo terms with 12k miles.
Not sure if theres a better deal...?

Also, can you also tell me what the MF/RV for a Nissan Rogue SV in 96732 with lease term of 36mo/12K

I took this deal. I researched a lot about the lease itself but the packages caught me off guard. I am a first time leaser and my first car so didn't know what I was doing.

Were those packages unnecessary and why is that? I thought the lease deal itself was a really good deal. Is that true?

You did fine, but those packages are unnecessary if you take good care of your car. I doubt you'll spend $725 on maintenance and you won't see much benefit from the wear and tear package.
