Comparing the 2018 to 2019 Tacoma SR. Trying to find out which has a better lease program right now. Any insight on that? Also, what would be the MF/RV/Incentives for 2018 Tacoma SR for 36mo/12k. Area code 33014. Thanks.
Access cab or double cab? 4WD or 2WD? Four or six cylinder?

Hello, not sure how different the info will be from my last request, but can I have the MF, residuals, and any incentives for 36/12k lease for the 2019 Tacoma SR5 Double Cab 2wd V6? Zip is 94509.....does it change for a zip about 40 miles away? 94568? Thanks.

All of NoCal has the same program.
.00235 MF and 73% residual
Thanks for the info. To double check, does the residual change per trim? One of my previous posts I was given 76% residual, but for a 2019 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab SR 4-cyl. That was the end of November so maybe that too is different because its December now? Thanks for the help.

Yes, the trim will impact the residual.
Thanks. One other question since I haven't used the forum before....Will the dealer already use the MF and residual amounts you are giving me or do I use this info in case they try to give me a higher MF or lower residual? Thanks.

They have to use the residual value; that is set by the bank.
With respect to the MF, the dealer could mark it up, but it is pretty rare. But, you should see all the numbers, or ask for them, before signing anything.
If they do try to mark up the MF, tell them you won't sign unless you get the base rate.
Hello, Would it be possible to understand why dealers charging way over MSRP for the 2019 TRD Pro? Looking for a lease plan - MSRP $47xxx College Grad Rebate (if applicable) Dealer wants $665 36m / 10k miles / 2k total out of pocket I did the math on my own with conservative numbers and came out with $620~ at full MSRP (MF .00235 and Residual at 70%)
Appreciate the help on clarifying this for me. Like to pick up this truck this week! Thank you!

It's a popular and expensive model. Most likely, it's the money factor being marked up, rather than charging over MSRP (but, it could be some of both).
Any Toyota Sales Pro can help me if this makes sense?
'19 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro (Lease, New)
MSRP $47,135 (+10% Markup, $51,000)
24 Months / 10k Miles (confirmed they have 10k miles available lease) *Quoted don't bother it will be higher payment? Although another comment confirming dealers can't change residuals so 24-month lease would net 78% right? and the MF is .00235? My credit is Tier1 (800+)
My Lease Math (please correct if I am wrong) $51,000 MSRP .0030 MF (x2400 = 7.2%) 78% Residual $599 per month @ 24 months and $2K at signing ~$1,500 NJ Tax / ~$250 transfer plates or new reg $400 / dealer fee $75
36 Months / 10k Miles *Quoted $665/month with $2K at signing. I have been trying to replicate their equation with the monthly payment. $51,000 *if they were to add markup on the $47,135 MSRP .0030 MF *I added additional points for this because I saw that dealers can do this .71 Residual *this is from TFS $19,242 with NJ Tax 7% (this is what I get) so additional $6,917?? so this means there's a 10k markup with a markup on the MF too by several points not just 1-2pts... @ $665 a month (36m/10k) that's $25,940 total of lease payments (incl. $2K at signing)
I get this is a highly sought out and rare Tacoma but there a couple of these cars that have been sitting for 1-2+ months on the lot since I tracked them down and I get they need to mark them up but more than 10%? I had one dealer say $880/month with $2k due at signing for 36months and 10k miles... WTF?
***Do any dealers honor the College Grad Rebate $750? Is it worth mentioning or using?

Your math is wrong
$47135 MSRP $51000 selling price
That's $856/mo, without accounting for any fees/taxes.
Why in the world would you buy a car for 10% over MSRP?
Can I please get the mf and residual values for a 2019 Tacoma V6 TRD Sport Double Cab (4X4, Automatic Transmission) for a 24, 27, & 36 month lease with 15K miles per year (18K if you have those numbers)? Do you know if this particular trim level comes with heated seats? Zip code is 06902 (NY/NJ/CT). Is there another trim level that would have more favorable lease terms? Thanks as always!

.00235 MF 77%/76%/70% residual (15K/yr)
OffRoad trim residual is 1% higher.
Manual transmission adds 3% to residual on either trim.
I'm almost positive that heated seats aren't standard, but I don't know if they are available.

What is the selling price? What ZIP code?
$615/mo seems like a lot for a Tacoma, but the TRD Pro is the top trim with the highest price, and the worst MF.
It could be a decent deal, but we'd need the selling price to be sure.

The program numbers on the TRD Pro are pretty bad; this may actually be an OK deal, all things considered.

With respect to the MF, the dealer could mark it up, but it is pretty rare. But, you should see all the numbers, or ask for them, before signing anything.
If they do try to mark up the MF, tell them you won't sign unless you get the base rate.

Looking for a lease plan -
MSRP $47xxx
College Grad Rebate (if applicable)
Dealer wants $665
36m / 10k miles / 2k total out of pocket
I did the math on my own with conservative numbers and came out with $620~ at full MSRP (MF .00235 and Residual at 70%)
Appreciate the help on clarifying this for me. Like to pick up this truck this week!
Thank you!

My Lease Math (please correct if I am wrong)
$51,000 MSRP
.0030 MF (x2400 = 7.2%)
78% Residual
$599 per month @ 24 months and $2K at signing
~$1,500 NJ Tax / ~$250 transfer plates or new reg $400 / dealer fee $75
36 Months / 10k Miles *Quoted $665/month with $2K at signing.
I have been trying to replicate their equation with the monthly payment.
$51,000 *if they were to add markup on the $47,135 MSRP
.0030 MF *I added additional points for this because I saw that dealers can do this
.71 Residual *this is from TFS
$19,242 with NJ Tax 7% (this is what I get)
so additional $6,917?? so this means there's a 10k markup with a markup on the MF too by several points not just 1-2pts...
$47135 MSRP
$51000 selling price
That's $856/mo, without accounting for any fees/taxes.
Why in the world would you buy a car for 10% over MSRP?

Happy Birthday!
Congratulations on your 100K post!
2001 Prelude Type SH, 2022 Highlander XLE AWD, 2025 Camry SE AWD
77%/76%/70% residual (15K/yr)
OffRoad trim residual is 1% higher.
Manual transmission adds 3% to residual on either trim.
I'm almost positive that heated seats aren't standard, but I don't know if they are available.

2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro
$47,135 MSRP
$615 per month, $2,000 total due at signing (all-in)
36 months / 10 k miles
Everything included dmv fees, $75 dealer fee, etc.
7% tax, Residual 71%, .0028 MF, and college rebate $750.
What ZIP code?
$615/mo seems like a lot for a Tacoma, but the TRD Pro is the top trim with the highest price, and the worst MF.
It could be a decent deal, but we'd need the selling price to be sure.

$600 / month with just $2K out of pocket - $47,135 MSRP TRD Pro
36 months and 10k miles.
7% tax
33448 residual amount
fees and everything rolled in
the original deal was $665/month with $2k out of pocket
I am saying I ran the numbers online lease calculators getting $570~
So I don't know who to believe...especially GSM saying they are taking a $1,300 hit off MSRP?
They even showed me the dealer desk tool (reynolds looking portal)
If you know what CAP cost they are using for their quote, we might be able to figure out the delta.
We still don't know what ZIP code this is for.

The program numbers on the TRD Pro are pretty bad; this may actually be an OK deal, all things considered.
