Thank you very much Michaell, I have a separate question based on a deal I saw for a Hyundai dealership in the 90703 area that I hope is OK to ask here.



Is the dealership able to increase the lease cash contingent on a down payment? Or is there some other way that they're getting to a higher point than $3,330? Also in the fine print it says tax is included in the amount due at signing, but I thought that taxes were charged on the monthly payment in California, or are you able to pay taxes upfront as well?

I cannot answer the question about the extra lease cash in that ad. I don't see it in my information from HMF, nor is there any sort of bonus cash based on location.

Incentives are taxed; you can pay them up front, or you can add them to the lease payment. The payment itself is subject to tax in CA.

WE are shopping for a 2019 Kona AWD SE in 98004. What are the current residuals, Lease Cash and money factors? (I see alot of previous posts for Ultimate and LTDs.) Also is there an acquisition fee?

We tried to get a lease rate of $238.43 plus our sales tax (10.6%) to get a $250/month payment. I used $3,100 in Lease cash and the dealers own advertised cap cost of $20,620 plus a MF of .00237 and residual of 54% and came in under this number. The dealer was claiming a lease cash of $2,700. I understand there will be other out of pocket costs like taxes on the lease cash and our outrageous licensing fees in Seattle. Our deal fell apart over cash down.
