    Hi,

What are the MRM, RV and MF for a 2019 Cayman base at 36/10 and 36/12?

    Thanks,

Wow. That MF is the equivalent of 6.72% APR.

I understand the concept of MRM, and I know I would have to pay 100% of the difference between the MRM and the actual MSRP over the term of the lease.

But I haven't figured out how that goes into my lease calculator.

Do I add the difference to the cap cost, or set the residual value equal to the RV% of the MRM?

Can you tell me what the payment for 36/10 using the above numbers would be on the following deal in San Diego, CA (92107):

    2019 Cayman base
    MSRP $79,880
    Sale Price: $73,489
    Down payment $5,000
    Dealer Fees: $80.00
DMV Fees & Tire Fee: $796.75
    Tax Rate: 7.75%
    Lease origination fees: $995.00

    Thanks!

If your MSRP is over MRM, just use the MRM as the MSRP. That will adjust the residual.
The additional amount you pay over the life of the lease, because of MRM is the difference between the two residual amounts, not the difference in MSRP.

Either way, it's very expensive to go over MRM.
You can get a pretty decent lease on a well-equipped Cayman by staying under MRM. Frankly, the leases will suck if you go over, especially by the large amount on this unit.

    36/10
    $72600 MRM
    .00280 MF and 66% residual

Somewhere around $1075 mo, with tax included.

Let's assume you lease a unit with an MSRP that matches the MRM, and get the same percentage discount.
    $72600 MSRP
    $66790 sale price
    $845/mo.

  • Doe Porsche offer a 30/10 lease? If so, what is the MF, RV% and MRM for a 2019 base Cayman?

Also does Porsche historically have any holiday incentives on latest (as opposed to previous MY) models in December, e.g. special MF or higher RV% for odd term? My car should be arriving at the dealer late next week, and I'm wondering if it makes sense to wait another week to see what the December numbers are.

    Thanks!

    30/10
    .00115 MF and 65% residual
    MRM = $71,000

    .00145 MF
    62%/60% residual for 36/39 mo.

    Porsche only updates quarterly.
That doesn't mean they couldn't add something mid-term, but it isn't likely

  • For the 2019, it looks like the MF for 30/10 is the same as for the 36/10 (i.e., .00280).

Are there leases for the 2019 base Cayman where the MF is lower?

    Thanks!

  • Hi, we are shopping for either a Lexus RX 350 or 2019 Porsche Cayenne.

    For the 2019 Porsche Cayenne:
For the Zip code of 94538, we were given 0.00280 MF and $3000 off MSRP. For 3 years and 10K miles.
$2000 total down which includes first payment, tax license and registration. Is that a good deal?

    Thank you so much!

  • Hey everyone. Does Porsche do any special type of incentives for prior customers? The lease on my Cayenne is up in 2 months and I’m trying to decide what I want to replace it with. Based on my calculations it seems the Cayenne and Macan don’t lease terribly well right now?

We don't have the 2019 model lease numbers.
Porsche, in general, has average lease programs. Strong residuals, but also market-rate money factors.

The Macan most likely has stronger residuals than the Cayenne, and should lease slightly better.

Do you agree this is a good offer? I tried using the calculator to come up with the MF but the monthly payment on calculator is coming up higher when I put in the base MF of .00274 so I must be doing something wrong.

    2018 Panamera 4S
    Sticker: $139,210
    Negotiated down to $130,000
    Tax, title etc. : $8,776.23
    Total Due: $138,776.23

    Lease
    36 month/7,500 miles
    payments $2,385.87/month.
    Due at Signing $3,500.
    Residual: $73,196

Agreed I think the MF they are charging and residual % is way off.  Looks like adjustments are being made to sales tax?  Does the monthly payment and amount due at signing come anywhere near what a base MF and residual % would produce?

If it's a PFS lease, the residual cannot be altered.
It's either another bank, or the numbers are bogus.
