No such thing as a good lease deal, there. You pay sales tax on the entire selling price, even when you lease. Makes a below average lease program that much worse.

And, amortizing that tax amount over 24 months instead of 36 doesn't help matters, either.

I don't see any reference to the acquisition fee, however. You should ask the dealer about that.

That might be the best deal you can get.

I got a bit lost in all the replies to replies. Could you summarize MF and Residuals for 5K and 7.5K miles on a 24 month Cayman base please?

Looks like that TX deal is what I'm looking for. But the payment seems insane for a $70K MSRP car. Selling price is $66K and you're paying a total of $27K in 2 years, for a car that will be worth $48K at the end of the lease. If this is what leasing is like in TX, I can't understand why anyone would ever lease there. OUCH! Much better off buying.

Also to the discussion of putting down a lot of money for leasing....IMO that is never a good idea. I've leased several cars (have 2 leases going right now, a Ram truck and a Mercedes E300) and I've never put so much as a dime down. Always $0 down. Use that money for something else that will return a higher yield than the typically low APR of a lease.

I just downloaded the Leasematic Calculator in the App store. It's $2 but so helpful to have as you try to back into these deals and do quick math. On the above deal, no way I am doing it. I need more than 6% off the sticker. And yes, $0 down

What is your ZIP code?

MRM is maximum residualized MSRP - basically, a cap on the sticker price that is subject to the residual percentage. Given the number, and cost, of the options on a Porsche, it's possible you could exceed that number pretty easily. Doing so will drive up the lease payment.

Porsche dealers are known to mark up the MF, so be wary of that.

MSRP: $62,550
Selling Price: $56,295 (10% discount)
39 mo / 10k miles (believe this is 59% residual)
Tier 1 MF (believe this is 0.0029)
Tax: 3% of monthly payment

Monthly payment is $793 with $2,500 down. I asked what the down payment included, as I had said nothing down except necessary for drive off. He said it generally covers the first month, dealer fee ($600) and acquisition fee ($1,095?). I was not provided the cap cost.

Does this seem right to you? And what costs are actually required at signing - first month, dealer fee and DMV fees? I generally prefer to put as little down as possible and roll anything else into the monthly amount.

The SA clarified that the $2,500 would be used for drive-off costs and the rest toward paying the acq fee up front, with whatever is not covered rolled into the monthly payments. He said nothing was being used for cap reduction.

Does anyone have information on re-leasing your leased vehicle through Porsche? I have the ordinary questions: money factor and residuals, but its for my current lease car, a 2017 991.2 Carrera coming off lease in the next 4 months. The dealer doesn't have this info without doing some checking (which is worrying). If not here, is there any other resource I can try? PCNA and porsche financial just direct you to the dealer. Thank you for any assistance.

I really didn’t have anything to lose as I didn’t have to have it.
Was also able to get 2nd year maintenance included which was a bonus.

Does this seem right to you when I did my lease calculations it comes out to $740 monthly (using $1200 in reg/fees) but i think i suck at calculating leases lol. This was last night but we had an approval with a condition that needed them to call Porsche Financial so have a day to think about it anyway. But now that I think about it is Porsche Financial open on Sundays?
