Thanks for the assist on this. I received a quote from a dealer at 39 months showing .00098 and 54% with a cap cost of $34,814. Does this seem right to you? That same dealer is telling me MF goes up and resid goes down too much for VW to want to do 48 months. - Thoughts?

You need a breakdown of the $3000 upfront.
The CAP cost is $5153 less than MSRP, but that could include some CAP reduction from your $3000.

$351 first payment
$675 acquisition fee
$300 DMV
$75 doc fee
$1275 sales tax (est)

That leaves about $325 left over..
If my estimates above are right, then the actual dealer discount is $325 less than he related (as that $325 is coming out of your pocket.

With the adjusted CAP given, I get a payment of $342/mo. vs. their $351/mo.

If I was getting an extra $500, I would certainly apply it to the upfront, rather than lowering the payment.

Gotcha, so this incentives is probably already included in their dealer discount, i was added it on top. Which hurts the price. That changes everything brings it over 300.
