    I was just quoted the following:

    2020 Acura MDX w/ teach SH-AWD
    zip 34787
    MSRP - $52,525
    Acura incentives - $12,283
    Adj cap cost - $40,241
    Residual 53%
    MF - .0025
    Payment - $589 (including taxes)
    First payment due at signing

    Does that look right? I think the payment is off based on the adj cap cost. Any help
    Is appreciated. Thanks

    Are you sure the MF isn't .00225?

    The adjusted CAP can't be the same as the selling price. Since you are only making first payment at signing, you have to add acquisition fee, dealer fees, DMV, etc, etc.

    I also went back to the dealer and they said the cap cost is the selling price and the 589 down includes dealer fee, acquisition fee, tag etc

    If you aren't paying the items listed upfront, then they have to be added to the selling price, to get the adjusted CAP cost.

    It's important to know that number, and have an accounting of what has been added to the CAP (because you are paying for it)

    Adjusted CAP cost would have to be $42,000 to get that payment (assuming 7% sales tax).

    The dealer doesn't seem to want to give you the itemization of how they got from $40,241 to $42,000.
    Maybe they are hiding some egregious fees.

    I am looking to purchase a 2020 MDX TECH SH-AWD in zip 07746. I have been seeing reference to 4450 incentive and 1000 loyalty. Does this apply to purchases as well? It also appears that the incentive increased from March, what does May look like in regards? TIA

    The $4450 is a lease only incentive; the purchase incentives for the MDX are $1500 for cash or bring-your-own financing, or $500 if you use Acura's low APR financing.

    No guesses as to what May will look like.

    Just received this quote from a dealer. 2020 mdx A spec. 36/12k. 56025 msrp, sell price 49,600, 599 doc fee, 1500 loyalty, 53%residual, .00069 mf, 630 payment. 1st due at signing. Sales lady says the 49,600 includes incentives and loyalty. Seems like almost zero discount before incentives. Am I wrong here? She came back with 600 a month with first month and 1k cash due at table.

    About $1K as dealer discount - I'm guessing you can do much, much better. Negotiate with several dealers concurrently to ensure you are getting the best price.

    I received this offer in 90027 for '20 MDX base (first offer from dealer btw):

    $3150 incentive
    plus $1500 loyalty incentive ($4650 total)

    MSRP: $45,500
    Cap Cost: $38,570

    $419/month + tax

    Wiggle room for more or does that seem right in this economy? I feel like there might be some more in there but maybe not...thoughts?

    These are factory to dealer incentives, which will be included in any price they offer you. The incentives do not have to be disclosed.

    Does the cap cost include all the fees rolled in?

    Anytime I read the phrase "the dealer will cover my remaining lease payments", I wonder if they somehow found their way into the new deal.

    I'd ask for a copy of the lease worksheet.

If so taking the example of what appears to be the best deal on this page of tech package capital cost $40241, what should the best case one pay lease for 36/12, mf 0.00225 cost sans title taxes and fees. Is there a formula to calculate one pay leases? Thanks in advance.

    Subtract .00080 from the money factor for a one-pay lease, then calculate it as you would any other lease. The multiply the payment by the term.

    Hi there. I’m looking for MF, RV and incentives on a 2020 AWD Advanced 36/10 and 36/12 Zip code 07003 (NJ)

    I’m an existing Acura cust so they waiving 3 of my remaining 4 payments. Dealer is coming back to me on Monday with a quote and mentioned a 1500 Loyalty incentive. Also can roll over 6k in remaining miles so maybe able to go with 10k and drive @12K

    Also how much of a discount should I expect after incentives.

    I just finalized a deal on a 2020 Advance $59,250 sticker. Not sure about the exact breakout because I just used your numbers to negotiate.

    3 year 36K lease.
    Total out of pocket was $2K including 1st month
    565.00 a Month

    Just based on my math the price came down to about $49.5K
