I just noticed Kyfdx mentioned a third MF, "00225 MF changes the incentive to $8600." Is there three different incentives, or are they increasing to any rate and passing the markup savings to the customer?

You qualify for either the loyalty or conquest incentive; not both.

With that being said, for the MF incentive, it would be taxed up front because it's applied to the adjusted cap cost, correct?

Is there a reason here in California the DMV fees wouldn't be rolled in and just pay 1st month and any applicable taxes?

From what I've been trying to find dmv fees is not taxed, unless I didn't find the correct information.

From what I've been trying to find dmv fees is not taxed, unless I didn't find the correct information.

The incentive is Acura to dealer, so it is untaxed.

Since CA taxes the monthly payment, anything rolled into the CAP cost is eventually taxed (since it would increase the monthly payment) Since DMV fees are non-taxable, it's best to pay them upfront, so no tax is paid.

Just wanted to say thanks again to the moderators, kyfdx and Michaell for all of the great info and arming us to be able to go in educated to get good deals, and also to know when not to waste our time if we can see the numbers are not going to be helpful to us.

Just inked this deal and my wife will be driving a new 2020 MDX Sport Hybrid Advance (and I will be now driving her 2019 TLX A-Spec). My lease had 1 more month (2018 MDX Advance and I was almost 8k over my miles).

Purchase Price ended up being $49k and change

$600/month with $2k total OOP. (Which is basically upfront sales tax and first month).
