The dealer is willing to reduce MF to 0.00055 with 10 MSDs. That would save me around $2150 vs. going with the dealer's MF or $1150 vs. going with the standard MF for the 36-month lease. Does it make sense to go easy on them with the MF and pay the MSDs for the much lower rate?

No. I'd hold out for the base MF, or shop a different dealer.

MB dealers in CA are as numerous as Ford dealers in Michigan; you shouldn't have to travel far to find a more accommodating dealer.
