Hi, could I please get the current MF, RV & Incentives for a 2020 A4 Premium Plus AWD for 36/10 & 42/10 in Pittsburgh, PA 15236? See the attached deal sheet that was sent to me from the dealer. (Something doesn't look right) We will be adding Audi Care as well.
After this was sent over, finance said my wife had a 668 TU Auto 5 which put her in a Tier 4? (Credit card balances pulled her score down) We've had 2 current leases with AFS, 1 for 3 years, the other for 2 years, both at Tier 1 pricing... never late. Is that in fact a Tier 4 & what is the process to get the tier bumped up?
Sorry for the lengthy question... thank you in advance
.00053 and 53% .00073 and 49% $1500 lease cash
Tier 4 adds .00050 to the MF, and there could be a dealer mark up on top of that.
There are about a billion articles on the internet on how to raise your credit score.
Thank you Michaell-
I appreciate the response.
I realize there's a ton of information online regarding raising a credit score, of which I'm quite familiar with what's required without researching... the question was in regard to getting the tier bumped up through the dealership in regard to this deal.
I'd say that's unlikely - the dealer has fairly strict guidelines with regards to scores and the resultant MF to be used on a deal.
If I subtract the $2500 from the Total amount, I get $618/mo, plus tax.
Long way from $772.
Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost they used for their quote, and the MF. One or the other is different from what we think it is.
Money Factor: 0.00153 Adjusted Cap Cost (with 2,500 down): $46,968.12
Is that right? Should I push for 0.00053 MF?
If they've marked up the MF to .00153, I'd have a very short, pointed conversation about giving you the base MF or you'll find a more accommodating dealer to work with.

Why put so much money upfront to rent a car?
Thank you so much for your response. As I said I am a new buyer, I didn’t know paying upfront will be a bad idea. Also this is the best that dealer has offered. I have not gone back to him after getting this best deal. Adjusted Cap cost is adjusted price which I mentioned ? Or I have to subtract down payment as well ?

You do not want to make a large down payment on a lease - it masks the true cost of the car, and, more importantly, that money would be lost if the car were to be stolen or totaled during the lease.
$7000 over 36 months is almost $200/mo, so your true payment is closer to $675/mo. Which is not that great of a deal.
You should shop multiple dealers to get the best price, and ensure they are using the base MF of .00053 on any quote they give you (the MF can be marked up by the dealer for extra profit).
The only up front money you want to give the dealer is the first payment and any RMV costs.

Thanks for your response. I am surely well equipped now. The only thing worries me now is my fico score is 682, I don't know if they would give me bas mf on that. Any suggestions for that?

Tier 3 will add .00030 to your money factor.
If I agree to pay some down payment, will they be able to give me at base mf?

With the prices provided, I get $515/mo
Pretty sure the $1500 up front won't cover all the up front costs - first payment, dealer fee, bank fee, sales tax, registration.
The cap cost would have to be around $44K for that payment.
Ask the dealer for an itemization of the $1500 up front, and a bridge between the selling price and the $44K number.
