Figured I'd let you know where I landed.

GTR - MSRP was 36,625 because of a dealer installed accessory.

For some reason, the dealer has the cap cost at 34,200, which is about 2400 off MSRP.
170 title license reg fees
650 acquisition fee
399 doc fee - rolled into gross cap cost - 35419.

The had 2870 in incentives, plus first month waiver and put 872 down (to cover most of the fees) for a final payment of 346/month with tx in MA. The other dealerships around here balked when I mentioned these numbers - so thinking it was a good deal.

While I have an Outback, I'm a big fan of the CX-5, especially in the Touring trim.

Hah! Well, one more then. Glad to know I'm on the right track. First time looking in this direction after a few Hondas. Fortunately they have a ton of CX-5s on the local lot, unlike the Outback base trim.

Good & bad news is that .00001 and 55% are precisely what my salesperson is quoting me, but we're at around $350 for Sport and $400 for Touring. About $50 more than I'd like to go for either. Selling price is my only chip here, and they're meeting the Edmunds projection.
