Thanks a lot for that info! I had chatted with an online rep at the Mazda I'm leasing from and he wanted us to come in and speak to them so that they can give us an early termination upgrade without penalty, as well as equity, since we didn't drive that much.

I guess I will wait towards August. I see so many good deals and I'm afraid of losing out on them...don't want to be stuck with no promotions by the end of the lease. I'm new to this, so I have a lot of learning to do! Thanks again!

I'd take that information with a large shaker of salt. Dealers always want you to "come on down, we'll make you a great deal". I've learned that, with a lease, you sign the contract, you're responsible for all the payments, unless the factory has a pull ahead program. Which Mazda doesn't.

I'm sure the deals will be just as good later in the year. The 2020 CX-9 isn't going away any time soon.

Can't be grateful enough for digging up this info for users of this forum. You guys are doing a great job at informing potential customers and keeping dealers honest.

What I noticed is that once I mention these promotional APRs and money factors, dealers simultaneously jack up the prices. Especially here in DC area, Passport Mazda and Priority Mazda of Tysons had been found guilty of a very misleading pricing. Priority Mazda was outright deceptive, so had to end any kind of communication with them.
Still working on the deal with others, and will share the result when I get one.
