Wait or pull the trigger? My current BMW lease expires this week, but can extend 2 months.

I have been trying to get a couple of dealers to compete but have not too successful in the NY area.

1 - Have one that is 5% off MSRP + Lease 1750 + 750 loyalty off
2 - Have another dealer at 6% off MSRP + Lease 1750 + 750 loyalty but no longer has the car.
3 - Third dealer essentially decided to pass (stop responding)

My only current option is #1. At 5% + 2,500 off its pretty average. Suggestions, wait or take it?

No predictions on what the market will look like over the next 60 days - or, for that matter, what the lease programs will be (the current programs expire today).

If anything, inventory should be increasing (one hopes), so you'll have more to choose from (and, hopefully, the dealer will be more willing to discount)

However, the biggest problem you have is the lack of discounting. As this is a loaner vehicle, you want to target 15-18% discount from MSRP, before the incentives. Right now, you're getting a discount of just over 9%. Shoot for a selling price of $49K and see what they say. That will save you over $100/mo on the payment.

Note that the numbers on the top left are for a purchase, not a lease. Ask the dealer for a screen shot of the lease worksheet where they generated the lease payment quotes at the bottom.

That said, less than 6% off is about an average discount - you might push for 8-10% off MSRP, before incentives.

I don't see either number on that document - and that's by design. Dealers like to play "hide the numbers" when it comes to a lease.

The information I have doesn't show a residual for 7500 miles; confirm with the dealer what bank they are using for their quote.

The base MF is .00086, from BMW Financial.
