Here is a deal that I worked with a dealership in the Houston-area (77007):

X3 SDrive30i MSRP: $56,470
3 yr/36k lease, .00082 MF and 55% residual
9% Discount + stacked incentives: $1,750 lease, $750 Corporate Program. (had to talk to GM for approval, 3 minute call!)
Only charged $995 lease fee plus $400ish registration

Wife wanted to wait to buy but these deals are out there.

Go get 'em!!

62,290 MSRP
57,257 Sale Price
2,000 (cap cost reduction down payment) -- I know you're against it but I left it in for now to hear your thoughts
3,250 in incentives I have available to me
699 aquisition fee
57,706.20 total cap cost

612.43 total monthly payment (includes tax)

3,144 (DOD) (includes the 2k cap cost DP reduction, TTR, first month payment)

What do you think? Can I do much better?

Other than that, it would be a good deal, if you can get that discount.

Expect a big dealer fee, as well.

Invoice on the car is $57,382.50 less $2,500 BMW-to-the-dealer incentive. Dealer is making a little under $2,400 on the car. Add to this whatever the doc fee they are charging you (which is pure profit to them). If it was me, I would target at least 1% more off MSRP at this point (unless doc fee is >>$150. otherwise, add that to the discount target)

1) For a loaner x3M or xDrive30i, is it fair to aim for 15-18% off MSRP (know that is common for X5, but do not know what is typical for X3).

2) if I buy a loaner and finance via BMW, does the $2,500 apr credit still apply on top of the 15-18% discount or is that only for new, on-loaner vehicles?

I see $1750 lease credit and $750 loyalty for the 2021 X3; I'll guess the $3250 isn't valid when you lease.

Do you think Penfed would give you a discount if you financed through another lender? I don't.
