The disposition fee is paid at the end of the lease; but, only if you turn the car it and not lease another MB.

That amount is not included in the lease payment calculation.

However, it could be the $795 acquisition fee, which most dealers mark up to $1095.

The lease end "purchase price" does not always match the residual, because of the purchase option fee.

Won't bore you with all details but MSRP was $44,275, got out of the dealership with $500 out of pocket and a monthly of $500.39, 36/10, with 3 years of maintenance. You guys helped me last summer with the S3 in the background. I can't thank you enough for all the help!!

thought all of you considering leasing a MB should know this. Just returned my 2018 GLA today. Thanks to COVID, we used only 21k of the 36k we contracted. We were "surprised" by being required to replace two tires, about $275 each. We were pissed as the dealer's sales promised us back in 2018 that MB never charged these normal wear &tears and we had a good laugh at BMW. We leased vehicles since 2006 varying from Audi and MB to BMW, never had to pay for tire replacements even after more than 30k miles on previous leases.

The dealer return person explained that MB now has a centralized return inspection company, AutoVin, that is new. And the costs of reconditioning returned leases have been too high for MB. Dealers used to look aside for small wear & tears when they were inspecting lease returns so that they could keep customers in the game. Now they had to charge as MB corporate is in control, not dealers. Dealers don't buy so many returned lease anymore. This means your lease will very likely cost you more than what you expected at its return. So be aware of this for leasing, the return person believes this is an industry trend and dealers are selling more tire insurance and such to consumers to cover these, but we are the one paying anyway.
