Took the car to a Honda dealership and of course the tech who drove in the car with me said there is nothing wrong. When I told him the my old 93 Civic had smoother shifting, he told me I was comparing apples to oranges. I retorted by saying this 2006 Civic was newer technology? Kinda stumped him. I guess they don't wanna fix a thing.
Anyways, hope someone has some info.
BTW, been driving the car for close to 2 years now and I've driven standard for 10 years plus.
I have the Sedan DX-G, 5 speed with about 12,000km.
Are there any financial models that will help with this decision? My particular situation is this:
I have a 2006 Lexus IS250, with 15K miles, worth ~$31K. My first option is to commute 25K miles on it over the next twelve months, and at this time next year, I'll have a 2006 Lexus IS250 with 40K miles worth much less.
My second option is save the Lexus for church driving, add only 5K miles, and at this time next year, I'll have a 2006 Lexus IS250 with only 20K miles. I could drop ~$10K on something like a used Toyota Tacoma or a used Nissan Frontier and commute the 25K miles on that. (Yes, I know there are better commuter vehicles than a Tacoma or Frontier, but my heart is set, and it's not negotiable).
Someone help me with the math. Which option is going to be cheaper over 12 months? Thanks in advance! -Paul.

To find vehicle specific discussions quickly, just select your make and model in the Browse By Vehicle search tool in the left sidebar.
Those two sizes are a lot farther apart than you think.. They'll fit the rims, but probably not the car.

I have intention to install on the back bumper of my car a sensor that detects the obstacles; the last time I was reversing I did 250 $ of damage, therefore sailing on internet I found two typologies of sensor: one with four ultrasonic transducers, and another with only an aluminium tape. Owing to the fact that I have not intention to do holes on my bumper I would prefer the second invisible solution. For this reason I wish ask first a your opinion.

Waiting for anybody who can give me an answer.

Quick Technical Question?
Make sure you are at the last page of the discussion that you want to post in; otherwise you won't see the Post box. Or you can reply to an existing post and that will open up a Post box.
The Help link at the bottom of the page explains it well, so check that FAQ out too.
The Questions About My Toyota FJ Cruiser discussion is probably the best one to post in if you have a problem you'd like some help with.

I just found this site and not sure where or how to post a new topic/question. I've got a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Classic and a while back my night illumination dash lights went out. Fuse is NOT the problem apparently. ??? where can I post?
thanks
Cherie :P

Newly Minted Deal:
2800 Cash
S60 2008 2.5Turbo AWD
Blue (the light blue); Tan Interior
Premium Package
Lease 400 per month
Buy out 17550 after 36 month Lease
We looked, drove and priced pre-owned S60s, both 04 (23K miles for 23K) and an 05 and decided that the deal listed above was the best value. The dealer said we could only choose between the light blue (tan interior) or the maple (black interior). We chose the light blue (tan interior with grey and brown trim). I think it is a standard type of color and trim not sure.
We signed this evening (Saturday night). My question is, "Did we secure a fair if not a better than fair deal?" My only concern after the fact is whether or not we could have leased a dark blue with black interior for same lease price (from another dealership).
Thoughts?
General Questions About Leasing
However, you haven't included all the necessary information for a good answer.
What was your money factor (interest rate?) Also what are the mileage limitations? Also, what is the penalty for exceeding the mileage limitation? Also, was a security deposit required in addition to the 2800?
So....you need to supply all or most of this data before someone could tell you if you got a decent lease or not.
