Hi,
Looking at Leasing a 21 RDX /Advance, I have a 2018 lease that is expiring.
The price has gone up significantly from 2018 so I am thinking of extending my current Lease for another year.
Should the monthly Lease price come down for the extra year or will it be the same??
I haven't asked Honda Financial yet, looking for what to expect.

Those numbers are for purchase. I would ask for the numbers that only apply to a lease. I will guess that you might be getting Texas tax credits.

Looks like the Advance model is hard to come by. Probably not worth the extra $5000 for the HUD and 360 camera as much as I like it.

It seems pretty good. But, you should get the actual numbers off the lease contract

I finally found the answer for those of us lucky Illinois residents. According to ST-556 instructions (Illinois Aircraft, Vehicles, and Watercraft Sales & Use Tax Form @ https://www2.illinois.gov/rev/forms/sales/Documents/vehicleusetax/st-556-1-instr.pdf), description for Line 1 (Total Price): "Enter the selling price, including accessories, federal excise taxes, freight and labor, dealer preparation, documentary fees, and any rebates or incentives for which you as a dealer receive reimbursement. Do not subtract the value of any rebate made directly to the customer. In general, any cost passed on to the customer as part of the sale of an item and for which gross receipts are received should be included in the selling price."

Whereas the previous PDF I provided from Illinois spells out the law on what the dealer gets taxed on (https://www2.illinois.gov/rev/research/legalinformation/regs/Documents/part130/130-2125.pdf), form ST-556 pretty much allows dealers to pass that tax to the consumer.

Hopefully this helps other Illinoisans.
