What do you think about this deal?
I know the numbers for 2021 580 are not out yet and dealer will order one for me. I am in NJ and dealer is in NY. He said MSDs are not supported in NY. Second, he said that I will have to order now and he can not lock in RV or MF now and will have to use the ones of the month when I take delivery (March). Does it sound right?
He added maintenance in there. I understand this is that "Aftermarkets" item in there. I will ask to remove it. He offered 2% off MSRP. Is this good given these cars are hard to come by these days?
if we assume that 48/10 numbers are .00147 and 45%, would these numbers suggest a good deal?

The maintenance plan and the acquisition fee are both marked up by $300 ea.

They did residualize the list price of the maintenance package ($1640) which is good.

Did you get an itemization of the upfront charges?

What the dealer said about not being able to lock rates, and no MSDs through NY dealers is correct.
If you do go through with it, ask the dealer to guarantee you the base MF, with no markup, once your vehicle arrives.

The payment calculation appears to be correct.

As far as maintenance, I would much prefer just to take the car to local shop and have them change oil... Rest of it I can do myself... As long as I keep receipts, should be fine, right?

I'd keep the maintenance package. With it being residualized, it's relatively cheap.

I don't know the market for this vehicle, but 2% off MSRP wouldn't get me off my couch.
