Thank you, and ouch! Still never figured out why the higher trim of almost any vehicle has a lower residual with everything else being equal. In this case the SVR MF is worse and the residual is worse than any of the other F Paces. Oh well, I suppose it is what the market will bear.

I've gone to two dealers and both have presented offers with marked up MFs and have even admitted they are marked up when I politely asked for the base rate. I've also only been able to get about $2k off the sticker price. This is a very different experience than the last time I leased a Jaguar three years ago and am wondering if others are experiencing the same.

Marking up the money factor seems pretty typical of Jaguar dealers.

I would try to get a Chase "Private Offer" if you have any chase accounts. You can also try joining https://members.usef.org/ for $25 and possible get one through them. These "private offers" should get you 10% off, but up to the dealer to accept or not. I was able to use my chase offer without issue and actually got more than 10% off by the time we finished the numbers. Also the interest rate is so amazingly low that even a small markup should be negligible if you start at 10% off MSRP. good luck!

I was able to get a 10% off Jaguar Private Offer. There is a $2,325 incentive on the P340S right now. I am guessing that this 10% off will be used in lieu of that (assuming the dealer accepts it) as opposed in addition to. In your experience (and anyone else’s for that matter), how does the Private Offer typically work in combination with lease incentives?
