If modern cars have too much screen, too many buttons, and too much glossy black plastic for you, here's the car for you:

Paying a little extra for a Prime steak is one of life’s little pleasures.

Since when did Amazon start selling steaks?

F150 Lightning especially XLT leases very well.

Besides the gargantuan size, I have a problem with these $60K + MSRP EVs. In CT we pay property tax yearly on a sliding scale based on a vehicle’s MSRP. Year 1 is the town’s mill rate based on 85% of a vehicle’s original MSRP. It goes down 5% every year. On a $60K + MSRP vehicle that comes to over $900 for the 1st year. Figure at $30 per thousand, over the course of a 3 year lease it would equate to an extra $90 per month.

CT must want everyone riding bicycles. I bet old hoopties are very popular.

I've now read several reviews of the Mercedes-AMG E53, and if I have to go with a PHEV for my next car it would be my first choice. It's about a half second slower than the 2025 M5 (and unfortunately, it weighs just as much), but it's much better looking, the interior is much more driver-centric, and -equipped to my specs- it costs $15k less than the BMW with no options (similarly equipped the price delta increases by $10k). And it does have an EV range of almost 50 miles.
