Besides the gargantuan size, I have a problem with these $60K + MSRP EVs. In CT we pay property tax yearly on a sliding scale based on a vehicle’s MSRP. Year 1 is the town’s mill rate based on 85% of a vehicle’s original MSRP. It goes down 5% every year. On a $60K + MSRP vehicle that comes to over $900 for the 1st year. Figure at $30 per thousand, over the course of a 3 year lease it would equate to an extra $90 per month.
CT must want everyone riding bicycles. I bet old hoopties are very popular.
