Meant to post this a while ago...on 11/29/05 I bought a metallic blue 2006 LE8 BZ (package #4), including floor mats, window tinting, and added an integrated Audio Vis. Navigation system and a DVD entertainment system for $28,704.00 plus taxes and fees...all in all very happy with the experience...I will try and remember to bring up the paperwork to post the specific breakdown in a future post...

Just purchased a 2006 LE 8 Passenger with Option Package 3 at Kay Jennings Toyota in Springfield for $24,400 with 3.9% financing w/o T,T &L. Price included destination charge. Exact color and model we wanted. Salesman very professional. Could tell we were informed buyers. Didn't try to push anything on us. :)

    is it a LE-7 passenger or LE-8 passenger ?
I think you got a good deal. Congratulation.

Anyone got a good lease price for a
Limited AWD XLE with HO package in NJ?

    Is $570 for 12K 36 month with 1K down a good deal?

I'm looking for suggestions on finding an XLE AWD package 12 or a Limited package 2 in Maine. I prefer slate metallic exterior. It seems like the XLEs and Limiteds up here are few and far between. Is my best bet to ask a dealer to locate the vehicle for me, or should I start checking New Hampshire and Massachusetts myself? Do I pay a premium if the dealer has to locate a car for me?

I'd love to hear what others have paid for these models.

    Thanks in advance,
    Bec

Here is the deal I will be picking up at the end of the month. What do you guys think?

    2006 Toyota Sienna LE 7-Passenger
LE Package #4 (Mfr Code BZ)
Carpeted floor mats / Sill protectors

$25,784 out the door (includes all doc fees, 5% sales tax, and $750 NW Toyota dealer rebate).

I also live in Springfield and looking for an 2005 or 2004 LE 7 passenger AWD. Your new vehicle price looks almost like a used car price. Did you have to do much negotiating?(the worst part of the experience) We have an equity line of credit that now's at 7.5% and is a tax advantage, but is it better to get the lower financing? We'll check out Kay Jennings. Thanks

I was offered here in Milwaukee,WI 2005 Sienna AWD XLE LTD with DVD and NAVI. for $34,500 plus TTL and Doc fee of $99.

This was around 31st Dec.2005 but I did not like color Deep Blue color so asked to give at $32 to 33,000 price.

What would be the right price expect to pay???
  • almo94almo94 Member Posts: 2
We are interested to buy 2006 Sienna XLE LTD but unsure to buy AWD version as Read too much problem with Run-in-flat.

Please friends give me your honest opinion or expert advice about buying FWD vs AWD.

Please also let me know how much to pay for either with DVD and NAVI option and Floor Mets.

    Thanks :surprise: ">

    Cathamole,

I don't know if they have any new LE 7 2005's in stock. They did have 2005 XLE's that were maxed out with options. Can't speak for the integrity of the used car sales department. Reference negotiations, do most of it on-line. Let Edmunds.com send out the request for bids in the local area. Use the Edmunds True Market Value index to see where they are sitting reference a good deal. Tell the high bidders that you have a lower price. See if they will come down. Don't reveal the lowest price. Print of the lowest offer as well as documentation in on the cars you want. Study it. Put it in a nice folder, and go in looking like smart shopper. You can probably get them to come down about $300-500 on the qouted price. You don't have to meet with the internet salesman, you can meet with the floor salesman, but don't come out directly with printed quote. Best time to buy is at the end of the month when they are trying to move them off the lot, so they don't get taxed and their sales numbers go up. Also, go in towards closing. Most of them have families too, so they want to get home. They are less likely to play games. Good luck and have fun. Remember, you have the power. They don't. You can simply turn around and walk out. Have fun with it.

    Hi everyone,
New to this board and on the market for a sienna ce 7 passenger with pkg option #1
I have an offer (in Boston) for $20,868 that includes destination charges (plus 5% tax, tags, ins and doc fees) any comments on this price?
  • ddent01ddent01 Member Posts: 19
Sam112.... could you please specify the date purchased and who you spoke with ?

I'm in correspondence with them now and trying to make sure I get the same deal. I am looking for the exact same package. I got quoted $24,554 at Carmax in DC. Very nice, but obviously a little higher. Still, much better than ANYTHING being offered in NC.

    Thanks!

Thank you for the helpful information. I know what I want and the most that I'll pay with the researched info. There's power in that and that I can leave if they start playing games. I'll post what I get later in the month-thanks!

I am in the market for a Sienna in the state of NJ (Northern). I printed out the Invoice from Edmunds for the 2006 Sienna + Package #2 and it shows $37,636.

From your experience how much luck will I have asking the dealer for this price or even under this price?

    Thanks...

Looking to lease this car was offered $100 under invoice. Is this a good deal or should I push for more? Are there any rebates now?
    Thanks
  • g8unwg8unw Member Posts: 5
I think that's good deal. What's the price before TT&L? What's the dealership name and address? Am shopping for package#4 too.
  • wandlwandl Member Posts: 40
I've researched my eyeballs out on 06 Sienna's with LE Package #3 and #4's..there are not many #4's available in the region.

Castle Toyota in Baltimore has a #3 for $23,369 with college grad rebate.
Leesburg Toyota in Leesburg, VA has #3's for $26,999
Fitzgerald has them in the $23,900-$24,000 range
Darcars has the Package #3 for $24,302
Koons Toyota has them in the $24,000 range

I only found 1 Package #4 for $24,500 not too many of them around...
Anyone who has had good/bad experiences with any of these dealerships please let me know. My wife and I are in WV, where the dealerships here are going for FULL MSRP...wouldn't budge much so we're going to fly into MD probably to pick our van up and drive it home...
  • hansiennahansienna Member Posts: 2,312
Unless they charge above MSRP or won't give much discount from MSRP. I think the dealership provides better service when the vehicle is purchased at the dealership.
  • wandlwandl Member Posts: 40
I 100% agree especially since the fact that my wife and I would lose pretty much a whole day...however MSRP of $27,942 (for a Package #3) less $750 rebate is right about $27,192...compare this to Fitz, or any of the other dealerships is $3,000 savings. I'd fly to Japan to save $3,000 (well..maybe...) in 1 day.

The salesman was pretty snotty (at Love Toyota) stating they've always sold most Toyota's at MSRP. I'll let them rip someone else off.
  • hansiennahansienna Member Posts: 2,312
Agree 100%. I will NOT pay even $1,000 more to buy at the closest dealership. In fact, we have not purchased at a closest dealer in the past when we could not find a decent salesman...even though the price may have been the same.
We were lucky to have the closest Toyota dealership have the exact vehicle we wanted with a fair discount with no haggle.
Arrogant Honda dealers that wanted $ 500 NON-refundable deposit just to get on their waiting list for an Odyssey contributed to our purchase of a 2006 Sienna LE. ;)

spas... I'm located in northern NJ and have just started looking myself.

From what I've seen on here and looking around the internet, it's looking as though the DC area is much more competitive - no idea why.

Check out Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Gaithersburg and Darcars Toyota for some pricing ideas.

Once I pin it down and figure out the financing, I'll probably just hit up a few local dealers (Morristown, Wayne, Parsippany,...) and let them have at it.

    Good luck

    spas...

    I just found a 2006 XLE w/ Package #6 with an internet price of $29,775 + $99 Processing Charge

    I also found a 2006 XLE w/ Package #5 for $28,736 + $100 Processing Charge

    Finzz,

Me and my wife test drove the Sienna XLE AWD this weekend at the Toyota dealer in Randolph. The showroom cracked me up due to the fact that the sales people (AKA, sharks) were playing cards and waiting for "feeding fish" to walk in the door. While we did find a pleasant sales person there I said point-blank what is your best and final. He would only go $1000 off of MSRP. I really don't understand the game of having to go back and forth to the "manager?"

So, I simply went to CarsDirect.com and called the dealers on the list (my wife wanted 'Nautical Blue' only, so I was even limited to a subset of cars). Long story short, I found the car for Invoice + $400 - $750 rebate. I just asked for the Internet Sales Manager; all over the phone. Nice and simple!

I found the dealers in the Morris County area to be less flexible than other areas such as Jersey City.

    Good luck!

    It was on 12/31/05.

I just looked up LE #3 @ DARCARS Frederick (Stock Number: 611013 VIN: 5TDZA23C66S397242) for 24121. They also have "MID-WINTER INTERNET CELEBRATION" discount of 250. Making it: 23871.

However, I just saw a post for LE #3 @ Castle Toyota in Baltimore for 23369.

May be you should fly to Chicago. I bought Sienna LE #4 pakage yesterday. They offer me 2 options. One is 24,350 @ 6.35 apr and 25,000 @ 4.9APR. Currently Toyota is running 635 rebate below invoice or 4.9APR for 60mths.
St. Charles Toyota is located at about 40minutes from the airport. Also they gave me all weather mats for free.
  • finzzfinzz Member Posts: 40
    Matterw...

Randolph is right up the street for me - in fact, that's where I bought my Accord earlier this/last year.

The internet is making this child's play in getting the best prices.

I think I'm going to retrench and go with the LE... I like the idea of the AWD but not the tires that come with the vehicle... I'm probably being anal...

Best of luck with it! I'll give you a call when we get stuck on the hill in month or so ;)
  • wandlwandl Member Posts: 40
Actually Fitz has a Package #4, for $24,470....and Baltimore is a 6 hour drive, versus 8 1/2-9 hour drive in Chicago. Wonderful offer though, relief to see Fitz prices are still competitive.

they just did not have the color (slate) of my wife's choice. Fitzgerald has $750 cash back currently, but your price is excellent....
  • aidlinaidlin Member Posts: 3
Any thoughts on paying 22690 for an 06 LE 8 passenger, with package #1 (AM)? Thanks.
  • wandlwandl Member Posts: 40
that's actually not a bad deal....

Anyone ever bought from Darcars? Just wondering what type of purchasing experience some people have had..I know they also have a lot called 355 cars...
  • coolyahoocoolyahoo Member Posts: 2
Finally bought the 7seat with BW and CF. I really preferred 8 seat with BZ (#4) but that combination wasn't available in the bay area. I had to go to LA to get that and decided not to.

I got very good bids from a few dealers. 500 below invoice NOT including the rebate

    MSRP 27864
    dealer invoice 25332
    my price 25332 - 500 = 24832
    rebate = - 750
    my total approx = 24100K + TTL

Palo Alto toyota fleet dept gave me the best quote intially. Fremont toyota and Tracy toyota matched it. I would recommend Tracy Toyota (fleet dept). If you want the names email me. Fremont toyota adds the Phantom etching on every car they sell (adding $200).
Other offered 100-200 below invoice when sent email for the quotes.
  • wandlwandl Member Posts: 40
wow congrats that is a good deal!

Anyone know the seat width (2nd row of seats) for a 7 pass and an 8 pass? here in WV I don't have a dealer that has an 8 pass in stock...yet it offers the best flexibility for our 6 month old son...BUT I don't want to sacrifice too much space for the 2nd row of seats..
  • lovesiennalovesienna Member Posts: 13
This is exactly what i'm looking for. I think the price is so good. What is the color, milege? and Where is the dealer? Thanks.
  • sienna06sienna06 Member Posts: 10
I paid 24K OTD. Sienna CE, 7 Seat, pkg#1. Houston, TX.

Most junk items included and those are
    Win tint
    Stipes
    Winitch
    Sealent
    Door edge Guard.
Color - most selling one and I wanted

    Only one stop shopping.
  • aidlinaidlin Member Posts: 3
It's silver. 16 miles. Boch Toyota in Norwood, MA. Herb Chambers in Boston offered a similar price.
  • lovesiennalovesienna Member Posts: 13
How did you get to that price $22690? The dealer cost (invoice price) on their website is more than that even after 750 rebate. It's like $400 below invoice?
  • matterwmatterw Member Posts: 7
    All,

I just purchased the 2006 Sienna XLE Limited AWD with Package #2 and option CF for $39K (before Jan Rebate) in Northern New Jersey. I did get an offer for $300 less, but I would have to travel a couple hours, so just did it locally.
  • sunshinestatesunshinestate Member Posts: 5
A 2006 Sienna LE 8 passenger, with the touring package for $26,300. This is before TTL.

    Thanks. :D
  • aidlinaidlin Member Posts: 3
I called them and negotiated over the phone. The initial price they quoted me was higher (26800), but Herb Chambers then quoted by 26700, and Boch then beat it by 10. Phone negotiations seem to work well, because it's easier to play dealerships off of each other. Good luck.
  • kj2005kj2005 Member Posts: 17
I purchased a 06 XLE Limited AWD with HO package (navi+dvd), floor mats, door sill protectors, etc. The published invoice price was about $38,500 which is about what I paid. Then the dealer gave me a fair price for an older car I traded in.

In MA I found a couple of dealers willing to sell for about $500 over invoice BEFORE any discounts, trades, rebates, etc.

Can anyone tell me when the $750 rebate for the 2006 Sienna LE started?
  • davidrusselldavidrussell Member Posts: 2
    January 4, 2006- through Jan. 31st 2006
  • stella4stella4 Member Posts: 2
Thanks. Now a more complicated question. If I was quoted a price with a standard wording of "Sale Price includes cash rebates & online discounts" on January 3, with no discussion of a rebate in subequent discussions, does the dealer have the right to ask me to sign over a rebate on a purchase on January 20th? The sales price at that time of completing paperwork on January 20 was increased by $750 as well. My payment due was not changed.
  • hansiennahansienna Member Posts: 2,312
Rebates are NICE for the privileged few who get them...but harm the people who bought a vehicle and did not get the rebate.

We had been leaning towards the Honda Odyssey, but drove a Sienna today and liked it. The Odyssey is easy to figure prices for. The Sienna is confusing the @#$$#@ out of me. The brochure on the "06 Sienna shows that the XLE AWD has an option numbered 8. I've not been able to find this on Edmunds or any other site. Anyone know why that is?
According to the brochure, pkg 8 on the XLE AWD has:
leather, heated seats, 17" wheels, stability and traction control, rear disc brakes, wiper de-icer grid, daytime running lights, moonroof, heated mirrors with turn signals, memory driver seat, JBL synthesis stereo, DVD nav system, rear entertainment DVD, 115 v outlets, two headphones.

Maybe this package is the same as the Limited Edition? Thanks for any help because I'm totally confused and the dealer doesn't seem to know either. Thanks.
  • hansiennahansienna Member Posts: 2,312
YES, Toyota has VERY confusing model and option availability.
In the Denver Region, there is NO XLE with AWD option and NO Limited without AWD although the 2006 Sienna brochure shows also an XLE AWD and a Limited without AWD. :confuse:
Sienna models and options vary from sales region to sales region. Lucky for me that Toyota has a 7 passenger Sienna LE with LE Package # 2 and carpeted floor mats available in the Denver Region.
  • ronironi Member Posts: 14
Hi this is Roni.I am intrested in buying LE With option 3 and wondering if any body got any from here in seattle and would appreciate pricing here and dealership info thanks
  • sunshinestatesunshinestate Member Posts: 5
I got the LE model, with option 2 and the touring package. I paid 28,500 and that includes tax, tags and dealer fees.

I LOVE the touring package. :shades:
