    Thanks @kyfdx I guess I am waiting on a break down of the OTD offer from the dealer. For now he gave me an OTD offer of
    2015 Honda accord - lx
    $22,159 OTD
    (Does not include tag)

    MSRP is $23725

    According to my calculations assuming that his OTD includes all doc and acquisition fees

    state tax 6% in florida + 1.5% Miami-Dade = 7.5%

    My monthly lease should be roughly $270

    Does that sound right?

    Thanks to everyone moderating these forums, used them to try and understand this whole leasing process. Just leased an Accord, looking to see how I did. Still not sure on what is/not negotiable and how to focus on the important numbers. Here's (a lot) of numbers. Where should I look next time to save $$. Which number is the "price" of the car that you compare to invoice? The 25166 or the Gross Cap?

    You did pretty well ... $275/mo with tax for a car that stickers at over $29K is good.

    There are only two variable numbers in a lease .. the money factor, which is used to determine the rent charge, and the selling price. The selling price can be adjusted up to include fees and taxes and down for cap cost reduction.

    hi I always check this site to get a feel for deals,
    i am in socal area, hope it helps anyone interested I did not shop around just one dealer knew what I wanted made an offer back and fore could have done litle better if i had more time but i try to be fair if i am treated well.

    Sorry - those were the 2015 numbers I quoted.

    2014 residuals for 36/15

    LX or EX - 51%

    Sport - 50%

    EX-L - 49%

    No supported MF, which leads me to believe Honda isn't interested in leasing the 2014 Accord.

    Never mind, found the answer on WeymouthHonda.com, they have lease residuals and money factors for every Honda model and trim along with every term available.
