I did some negotiating on presidents day at my typical dealer I go to. I am trying to turn in my 2012 LX lease a few months early and get into a new 2015 one. For my current lease 3 years ago I got $267 / month plus $1500 down, so I am trying to beat that. Their best offer to me was $283 per month with zero down on a new LX (or $247 per month plus $1500 down), and they would pay off my current lease - but it was for only 10K annual miles (I need 12K) and they would not pay my current disposition fee or consider an EX upgrade so I am shopping around a bit more. Any reccos?

Thanks! I may contact them to try and get the same deal or something similar. So far the best offer I got is from my go to dealer - Open Road. Thanks! I may contact them to try and get the same deal or something similar. So far the best offer I got is from my go to dealer - Open Road. The EX has so many nice features in it. There is no reason to go any level above it. It's like a luxury vehicle.

66% for 36/10 or, this month only, 39/10. Nothing lower than 10K miles per year supported by Honda.

Check dealer websites for 2014 inventory.... not likely to be any.

Thanks! I've been cross shopping with RDX which has a higher MSRP but some great lease deals currently. For e.g., RDX with Tech package has a lease special of $410 for 35 months with zero down. MSRP is $39715 with capitalized cost of $37295, 59% residual and 0.00011 MF. How should I compare that with CRV Touring FWD for which I got a quote of $31990? Would my payments be lesser on RDX with such a low MF?

A Touring won't save you any money, but if you can do without NAV, the EX-L would likely be cheaper.

With tax, the payment goes to $302.19. Ask the dealer what the net cap cost is; there might be a fee or two hidden in there.

This is my first lease....that is, IF it happens.
I wanted my payments to be no more than $300/mo, but he said that is what he's getting.
I'm sure there are hidden fees. I'll ask.

My local Honda dealer is offering a 36 month/12,000 miles/yr lease on a Honda CRV LX AWD model for $260/month with no money down, and 0 payment the first month. Seems like a decent deal. The residual at the end of the lease is $16,623. The sale price is $25,213. I do not have any other deals like money factor.

Is this a nice offer?

MF is .00160, 36/12 residual is 62% (same residual for 39 months as well).

Using your MSRP and sale price, I get a pre-tax payment of $315.74; 39 month payment would drop to $296.77

So for 39 months how would the mileage work since its 12 months in year and this is would be 3 yrs and 2 months? 296.77 would be me paying ny tax, 595 bank fee ,dmv fees and 1st payment? What exactly would get taxed? Sorry for all the question's im a newbie at this

Yes, the $296.77 would require that you pay all the sales tax up front, in addition to the other fees.

The sum of the payments is what is subject to sales tax in NY on a lease.

Hi looking at an EX-L in South FL can you tell me if the same MF and residual apply as on the EX.
I was given .00170 and 64 % on a 36 month 12,000 miles per.
Also said the selling price at $26,500 for a MSRP at $29,025. $2500 under MSRP seems very good to me is there any Money back to the dealer to accomplish this.
Also how long will the current MF and residual be available.
Does Honda ever have a supported program on the EX-L like they do on the LX?

I confirm the residual of 64% and MF of .00170 for EX-L FWD.

The MF expires on 4/13.

I would suggest you check out the "CR-V Prices Paid" discussion to see what others are paying. You might be able to get more off the sticker price than you realize.

LX and EX have the same residuals for 36/12 - 65%

Actually, 65% is also the residual for 39/12 as well.

I've not known Honda dealers to mark up the MF, though they are allowed to do so. Contact another dealer and see if you get a different answer.

@michaell the dealership is Weymouth Honda and if you use their lease calculator on their site you can see the MF listed as .0105 on the LX. Looks like it wasn't just on the quote sent to me.

It's possible it could be .00105... but, not .0105

Might be some sort of regional deal in the NE... if so, we wouldn't have the info..

@Michaell I pulled the numbers from the contract so hopefully I gave the right numbers. That was the deal I got and the $299.63 payment includes tax (6.25) in MA.
