I am in NJ, looking to get 2015 ES 350 with 0 out of pocket.

Here is the vehicle I am struggling to get a good deal on:

What is residual and MF? How much would you think should I bargain to pay per month?

To add to these numbers, here is what I read from the sheet that the guy gave me:

Vehicle Price: 44,893
Preferred Customer Discount: $2,391 (I purchased 2 cars from them before - is this because of that?)
Selling Price: $42,502
Tax: $ 2,982 (WTF? - in NJ should be tax on the lease payments, not on selling price, right?)
Fees: $790
Rebate: $1,500

Wow! Thanks so much for the info! I bargained like there was no tomorrow and at the end, here is the car and details that we agreed upon:

MSRP: $45,212 (basically the same car but also has a rear spoiler).
Terms: 7,500/yr, 36 months
Out of pocket: $0 (yes, zero)
Monthly payment: $401.27

Looks like a crazy deal, isn`t it?

They have 2 cars on the lot to choose from, gray nebula with black leather and silver with light gray leather. I think I`ll go with the nebula...

15K numbers - 65% for 24 months, 63% for 27 months. Extra miles are charged up front at .20 per, so subtract $2000 from the residual for 24 months or $2250 for 27 months.

Residuals are set by the bank and cannot be altered by the dealer. The information I have suggests the residuals for Lexus are the same for the whole country; the MF can be regional, but that's not what is in dispute here.

Of course, it could be they are using a different bank for their lease quotes. My numbers are for Lexus Financial Services.

I went with the 2015 ES350.
Giving back with my info....
Luxury pckg, 18 inch wheels, etc.. Here is my deal :
MSRP is 45414. 36 months, 15000 miles.
Rolled everything into lease including 8.625% NY tax which then becomes 41381.
Paid 313 dollars total up front.
Payment ends up at 466. I think it would be just under 420 without the taxes which are over 1900 dollars.
As always, your results may vary! Hope I did well, happy with it regardless.
Beautiful car, way nicer than I expected.

Is this a good deal? Incidentally, today seems to the last day for Lexus rebates for leases.

Using those numbers, I get $417/mo, so higher than your quote of $388. Also, you are paying the taxes up front so you won't have to add them to your monthly payment.

And yes, the Lexus programs expire today ...
