I was shopping for GLE 450 AMG coupe - their offers are just plain Ridiculous. Porsche Cayenne here I come

Mercedes needs to be taught a good lesson. A GLE 450 AMG coupe is $77k and dealer wants close to MSPR since "this will outsell every other suv"

The GLEAMG 450 lease is same as lasing a BMW X6 M - the X6M blows the GLE in every aspect - and MSRP is $95k - lease payment for a $100k car is same as that of AMG GLE $77k - !!!

Mercedes thinks we consumers are retards

I got on vehicle with MSRP 77,550 ,$1500 off for total cost of 76,050.

for 36/10 they quoted me $1263.33 without tax and for 36/12 1283.77 without tax. Zero down for both terms.

Is it a fair deal? I am surprised with those low numbers..

What MF they are using? And what is going to be with 9.25% tax included??

I'm being told that the currently standard MF is .00200. Is there flexibility there or is this non-negotiable?

Probably no wiggle room in the MF - we don't know the exact amount, but .00200 sounds about right.

Hi Moderator, Is it common for dealers to tack on an additional .5% on top of the standard MF. I mean I was talking with a dealer and he said 2.496 (.00104 * 2400 = 2.496)+ .5 = 2.996% interest. Is this a common practice even if you have excellent credit?

Yes, it's typical. Your job as a shopper is to negotiate it back to the base amount.

When I said "without interest," I was asking if I could see the extrapolated numbers.
For example: 1. Monthly payment without tax and interest 2. Monthly tax 3. Monthly interest.

Just wanted to get an idea how you got to $848, since I don't have the "calculator"

Also, is the money factor of .0022 negotiable in any way? 5.28% seems high.
