Ok, the Jeep.com site gives me an MSRP of $43,260 and the Edmunds TMV is $42,726. Does this info suffice in estimating a lease payment? Also realistically, how much can I hope to bring the price down from the TMV?

With those prices, I get a payment of $585/mo for 36/15 or $562/mo for 36/12.

We don't track selling prices, but you want to get a price below TMV - how much below, I can't answer.

Was just informed by dealership there is a recall on 2016/2015 grand Cherokee which stop them from selling any of them until the problem is resolved. Is that true?

I do see a recall on the wiring harness; do not see any information on a stop sale.

Have you contacted multiple Jeep dealers to see if you are getting a consistent story?

Not checked with any other dealership but they are still replying my query on it without mentioning this. Will be surprised different dealers reacting differently on recall.

Hello - please confirm .00037 MF and residual 52% for 36/15 in PA for 2016 Overland 4x4 and provide MF and RV for Summit 4x4 in PA. Any differences for 6cyl vs 8cyl for these models?

I was quoted MF of .0019 and RV of 54% on a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit 4x4 MSRP $54085. Cap cost is $50726. They want a down payment of $3500 (state of Indiana). Could you verify and tell me if this is a good or bad deal. Is the MF negotiable?

Confirm numbers for Overland 4x4

Summit 4x4 - .00109 and 52%

No difference in numbers for gas engine choice.

With your MSRP and cap cost, I get a payment of $685/mo before tax, and assuming $0 down.

We don't recommend making a down payment on a lease; that money is lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

I live in Massachusetts. Looking for info on 2016 Grand Cherokee Limited. MSRP $41,650 and sale price of $37,205. With MF of .00089 and Residual of 57%, I get a monthly payment of $455 for 3 years/36k miles. Tax rate is 6.25%. This does not include registration/plates, or any doc fees. Does this look correct? Please confirm if MF and residual are correct. Thanks

1. It's really expensive to terminate a lease early.. chances are you are highly upside down
2. The Grand Cherokee does not have good lease numbers, and are fairly expensive to lease

Combine the two, and I doubt seriously you could save any money by trading out.

Dumb question here but can you please confirm that once a sales price is determined, less any rebates, that becomes the cap cost unless any fees/etc are rolled into to the cap cost? And more importantly, there is no sales tax collected except on the total of the payments which can either be paid up front or spread out per month as part of the payment?

About to pull trigger on 36 month 15k miles for 2016 Overland V8 with:

- MSRP of $53,720 with sales price of $50,000
- Less $2500 in rebates
- Final cap cost of $47,500.
- Dealer is using .00037 MF and 52% residual which makes residual value $27,934.40
- By my calculations the resultant base payment should be $571.40.
- With PA 9% sales/use lease tax final payment should be $622.83.

The sales mgr I'm dealing with is adding 9% sales tax to cap cost and also taxing the monthly payment - wrong, correct? Your timely response is appreciated.

In PA, lease tax is assessed against the monthly payment and any cash down or incentives - so, 9% of the $2500, then 9% on the calculated payment.
