Just wondering if anyone can tell me if this is a good deal, in NYC if that helps. 36 mo / 12k m

    MSRP : 47520

    Selling Price : 42100

Monthly Payment : 490 w/ taxes rolled in at about 8.5%

Out of Pocket on pickup : 1500 made up of fees, first month and DMV

2016 Prem Plus S3 w/ Tech Pkg, Mythos Black, red Calipers, assorted other add ons.

    Decent Deal?

    36/12 lease numbers for the S3 Prem+ are .00010 and 55%

Using your prices, I get $450/mo before tax.

What is the adjusted cap cost, with taxes and fees rolled in?

Your payment makes sense, the payment prior to taxes is 451 from the dealer. At a tax rate of .0875 my taxes per payment came to 39.6 putting me right at the 490 mark.

My charge out of pocket was Bank of 800, 490 first payment and about 200 in DMV fees. Just under 1500 I rounded up a bit.

I also didn't take this deal, my current car a 2009 Lexus IS250 AWD where I owed 14.5k was left out. I initially planned to sell it on my own because no matter where I went the negative equity on the loan was hurting the deals.

I tried one more Audi dealer and was able to get the same deal with my car completely covered by trade in plus scoring another Mythos Black S3 at 49075 MSRP. Same out of pocket just add in the fact that I got rid of my Lexus without owing or taking a loss.

How do you determine MF/Residual for used cars? Audi in Tampa, FL has a 2015 S3 Premium Plus (S-tronic) with sale price at $41,677 and 7,399 miles . Audi will lease their certified pre-owned vehicles if they have under 10,000 miles.

What is the MF and Residual? What should expect to pay at 10,000 miles per year and $2,500 down for 36 months?

We don't have numbers on the CPO programs. Too many variables.

Looking for the residual and MF for 36/12k Premium + and Prestige S3?

Looks like the money factor may be 0.0001, if you apply 10 security deposits, (0.00005*10=0.0005) that would give you a negative interest rate (0.0001-0.0005= -0.0004). Any idea how the security deposits work in this case?

    Thanks!

    .00010 and 55% (P+) or 52% (Prestige).

Audi mandates a minimum MF of .00005 for a lease, so in this case you would only be able to use 1 security deposit to reduce the MF from .00010 to .00005

Hi, just checking to see if this is a good deal for an S3 premium plus. I'm in Southern California. Tax rate is 9%. 36 months/10k miles.

    MSRP: $50,075
    Net Selling Price: $42,959.01
    Sales Tax: $3,941.01
    Fees: $502.75
    OTD Price: $47,402.77

0 out of pocket. $550/month with taxes included. Is this a good deal? Is the dealership using the correct MF/residual?

    Thanks

Well, the sales tax amount is wrong - in CA, they tax the monthly payment on a lease, not the entire selling price.

    36/10 on S3 Premium Plus is .00010 and 56%.

The number you need to get from the dealer is the adjusted cap cost - selling price with all fees and such added in.

    Total cap cost: 45254.01

Not sure which one to use.

Normally, it's always the adjusted CAP cost, but since you have ZERO out of pocket, they've probably capitalized the first payment, so maybe it's the "Total" CAP.

I get $485/mo. plus tax, using the "total" number. Or around $529/mo., using the base MF and residual.

Good morning may I have the numbers for the month of July for a 2016 Audi S3 premium plus (I believe that's the one that has the best leasing program) for:

    24/12
    36/12

I live in Miami Florida. As well as if there is any incentives!

    Thank you ! @Michaell @kyfdx

hello. many thanks for all your help here.

I have been offered the following, which seems to be a pretty good deal (NJ) for my mileage needs (I have been leasing 20k mile /yr cars for many years now due to the nature of my job)

S3 Prestige Plus w/LED and Technology packages - MSRP $49,075
    Sell price - $43,449 ($42600 + $849 Audi Care)

    $1250 Mfr Rebate

Out of pocket (down pmt, 1st pmt, etc) $3,000

    3 years w/ 60k total miles (20k/yr) - $525.14 /mo

Can you tell me if that seems to be as good of a deal as I believe it to be?

My other question is in regard to tires. Unfortunately the vehicle quoted here only includes summer tires. I told the dealership I'd be more likely to make the deal if they could swap the summer tires out with all seasons. They told me they couldn't do it because it would violate the lease. To me that seems odd because I actually leased a VW about 10 years ago and had the same issue (came with summer tires) and the dealership was more than eager to swap tires for me before i ever picked up the car. So is that something I should press for? I really dont want to incur the cost storage and effort involved with maintaining a second set of tires...

    thank you in advance!

I don't know the adjustments for the extra 15K/miles over the standard 36/15 lease, but that sure appears to be a good deal, especially considering the extra miles and maintenance.

$1400 worth of tires, and then stuck with a set that is technically used? I think that's why they won't do it. But, as far as violating the lease? It only matters at lease end. You'll have to have summer tires on it. If you want all-seasons, buy them now. With 55K miles, they'll be worn out in the Spring of 2019, and you can put the summer tires back on, and turn it in with good rubber. It isn't likely you'll make it 60K miles without changing tires, anyway, so it's just sooner, rather than later.

Hi, this forum has been very informative. I currently have a 2014 S4 lease that expires in December. I'm 3K miles over the allowance. I currently pay 526 per month after putting 3995 down. I would like to possibly roll this car into a current lease of an S3 putting no money down. The residual on my current car is 32,175 but I believe I should have some equity in the car, although being over the mileage gives me a bit of pause as does the 6 months to lease termination.

My question is whether its realistic to think Audi would allow me out of this current lease if I decide to roll into a new S3 and should I expect to be able to walk out with a similar monthly payment (or less) putting no money down. I should say that the car is in excellent condition except for some road rash on the rims.

    Thanks,

    Thanks,

Start with asking AFS for the current payoff of your lease, then check Edmunds for the current value of the car. You can find out pretty quickly if you are near even.

The current payoff of my lease is 36,432, which is the high end range of trade in value for my car. I have 5 payments left on my S4 at $526.

I asked for a quote from the dealer on the following:

    MSRP = 49645
    MF = .00056
    Residual value = 27,304 or 55%
    36/10
    Cap cost 44,367
    No Audi care
includes 1250 summer of audi and an additional 750 audi loyalty incentives

    Payment was 514 per month.

This is where I realized that they have no intention of getting me out of my current lease. In order to make this all work I would have to put down 10K. Made no sense. Also the sales person was worthless when I asked what the 10K was for. Said he would have to check with the Finance guy and I wasn't about to wait any longer. I just told him that his numbers made no sense and that putting 10K down defeats the purpose of leasing and I left.

Ok trying to negotiate a lease on a 16 premium plus. Performance package, s sport seats, red calipers.

    sticker price $49,525
    rebate $1,750
    discount $3,972

    purchase price $43,803
    residual $27,734

7,500 miles a year, which i will destroy but planning on buying the lease out after a year or so

Seems the price is good but the residual is too high?

    Thoughts?

Why lease if your intention is to keep the car? There are costs associated with a lease you don't have when you purchase.

And, a high residual is good - makes for a small payment.

So, why lease a $50K car if you just want something on your credit report?
I currently have a 2010 a6 with a loan on it so trying to keep a similar amount on there
    Ok. I see now.

Hey how's it going! I'm new to this whole leasing thing after always taking loans out.

The first question I have is do the numbers change ( MF / Residual etc... ) if I were to lease a car out of state? I'm in Ohio and no dealers seem to have the combo I'm looking for in an S3. So I'm looking all over the place.

Also does anyone have any experience with getting cars transferred from one dealer to another? Is this something Audi will do? I'd be fine with flying somewhere and driving the car back but I don't really want to put 1k miles on it before I really start even driving it.

    I'm interested in a 2016 S3 Premium Plus.

    36 / 15k
    24 / 15k

Do the options on the car change the numbers? Or are they just based off of either being a Premium Plus or the Prestige?

    Thank you in advance!

If you are new to leasing, we suggest you start here:

Now that you understand the basics, let's answer your questions.

    1. Audi numbers are regional, starting in July. However, the residual and money factors are the same nationwide; it just seems like the incentives may be slightly different.
    2. Dealers can trade cars with other dealers, but for a limited edition model like the S3 you might find it more difficult to make it happen. You may have to travel to where the car is. Road Trip!
    3. S3 Premium Plus - .00006 and 59% (24/15) or 52% (36/15)
    4. Individual options or packages do not changes these numbers. Only the trim level - Premium Plus vs. Prestige

Simply add 2% to the 15,000 mile residuals we gave you earlier.

    .00006 and 55%

I get $392/mo with your prices, before tax. (actually, $379/mo when I add 1% to the residual for AudiCare)

What is the tax rate where you live?

MF could be marked up. Or, the adjusted cap cost is higher than the negotiated selling price.

With the $379/mo payment, 8% tax takes the payment to $410/mo.

I'd confirm both the MF and the adjusted cap cost on your deal.
