@carsrconfusing The calculator won't matter, if you don't have all of the numbers. Taxes in NY are collected upfront. You have $1469 upfront, but you don't know what that covers, and what might be left over and added to the CAP cost. You need that adjusted CAP cost number.

Subaru also appears to have a 500 loyalty or ambassador coupon for returning customers. Is that the same as waiving the first payment up to 500$ or are they two separate promotions?

Don't have any information on either one. Leasing another Subaru should get your disposition fee waived, though, assuming both leases are through SMF.

I can get the VIP pricing through my employer. Is that generally a decent deal ? I'm a first time car buyer, so I have no negotiating skills to speak of. A few months ago, I emailed a dealer and he quoted $ 275 per month for the 2017 2.5 i base model for 39 months and 10k/year. True zero down (fees and taxes included). was that a decent deal ?

When leasing, you do not want to simply negotiate the payment; you want to negotiate the selling price.

VIP pricing is pretty good, but you may be able to beat it with some good negotiation skills.

Use the "make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools. Your goal is to beat the TMV value, which is an average.

If I add $1800 for acquisition fee, tax, and DMV/doc fees, then the payment would be $282/mo, with just the 1st payment due at signing.
