If you are buying it from Lexus to re-sell, you may have to pay sales tax, before selling it to the next person.

If that is the case, you may lose quite a bit of money.

I do not put money down to lower the cap cost. I only give 1st month, motor vehicle fees, and the miscellaneous fees upfront. I put acquisition fee and dealer fees into my monthly payment. Hence your $1073 is okay with me. Your $3,927 is the problem. Find out what your invoice is on this vehicle and if any cash is available using this site. Last month there was $1500 winter cash available. If cash is available, take this off the invoice price and work your way up from this for the adjusted cap cost. You only need the MRSP to figure out the residual value. I hope this helps.

but I picked up my GLE yesterday, got $8400 dealer discount. I think that's a fair deal. in CA.
put total $3500 down with a payment of $598 OTD for 36 month and 10k miles. you guys think this is a good deal?
also I got the 996 Parking assist package - Parking Pilot, Surround View Camera.
can I raise the volume on the beepers? right now there is no sound. also does this package park the car it self?

If I add the acquisition fee, then subtract the cap reduction from the selling price, I get a payment of $546/mo before tax. Assuming 9% sales tax, that takes my calculation to $595/mo - pretty close to your quote.

Might be time to find another dealer - only takes one to meet your numbers.

If that's the case, they aren't truly discounting the car as much as they claim. I agree, it might be time to find a new dealer. You'd think for my 3rd Benz from the same salesperson, I would be getting a better deal.

btw: I am actually comparing GLE350 and BMW X5, I got a 10% discount for GLE350, and I found MF for X5 is actually 0.00134, much higher than GLE350. Seems GLE350 is not that bad.
