    Just reporting back, made a purchase this week. Traded in my 15 Ram 1500 Big Horn Plus for a new 2017 Ram Rebel 4x4 lease. Pretty sweet truck!

    Ended up with about $13k in discounts and incentives in the deal. Was comfortable with the deal and dealer overall.

    Ok. Thanks. Can you tell me if these #s are good. I signed the papers but not drop off down payment or trade in yet. MSRP 49,370. 2000 cash 1500 trade. 39/12k. Residual seems high at 26,166(53%) I got some rebates.

    Hello, I saw that there is drastic difference from 2016 models on the residual value for the exact same 2017 truck. Could you explain little more why that happens, I am leasing a 2016 RAM 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab 4x2 36/12K , I got a 56% Residual Value on the deal ( comparing with 2017 model drops to 47% ), I really like my truck so I was thinking to probably buy the truck when the lease ends, but after this change on the Residual Value I will be paying more of the real value of the truck if the Residual Value drops like 9% comparing with the 2017 models. Could you give me some kind of advice on this? Thanks

    Lease residuals do not always reflect reality. Sometimes, a high residual is used instead of a rebate, to lower a lease payment. If your residual was unrealistically high, then you probably have a nice low lease payment. However, that means buying it out might be a bad deal. If it's not worth the residual, don't buy it.

    can you tell me lease number I should be expecting for a Ram 1500 Express, Quad Cab 4x4 with the 6'x4' box. I'm looking for 36/10. Also, the MSRP of the model we're looking at is $41k, is there a way to tell what I "should" be paying as a negotiated price? Invoice, less than invoice? We are in NH. Thanks so much!!
