My Prelude is currently sitting in the driveway waiting for me to install a new battery. I bought a new battery back in December. It has either been too cold or too wet.

I took the TDI Touareg up to the mountains this weekend and man what a difference. The TDI handled the climbs without an issue whereas the gas version was constantly revving and downshifting to maintain speed.
On the way back yesterday I averaged 32 mpg and almost hit 33, granted it's about 5k in elevation change but a good portion of it was in snow, single digit temps and very slow traffic for about 20 miles. All in all I'm happy with the upgrade.

That sounds fantastic, jpp! I love the drivetrain on my Q7. I'll hate to sell it (in that respect, the winter is waning far too quickly).

Everything is very easy to reach and there is very little hard plastic anywhere to be found anywhere. I’ve done some longer drives just because I find the interior a pleasant place to be. Sam seems to enjoy it too, particularly the pano roof. He spends our drives home from school pointing at the sky and giggling. Also a significant plus is that his convertible car seat fits beautifully and leaves ample room for my wife in the front.
The audio from the Burmester stereo is very impressive. It doesn’t sound as good as the larger systems in the E or S or even the Porsche line of cars, but it is night and day better than anything I’ve ever had before. My personal opinion is that it sounds better than the B&O system from Audi and HK from BMW, but not as good as the Acura ELS.
I have two quibbles: (1) The COMAND system really is not impressive. I find iDrive way more intuitive. I’ve yet to figure out the point of the optional trackpad that came with my car. Maybe one day I’ll figure it out. That said, everything can be easily controlled by voice commands which helps mitigate some of my frustrations.
(2) Even in sport+ mode, the steering and handling just isn’t as tight as the BMWs I’ve driven. I suspect that is intentional. My hope was that kicking it into Sport+ would really tighten things up and then for longer drives I could use Comfort mode. Not so much.
All in all I am very pleased with the move. For the money I doubt I could do better, short of finding one of those unicorn deals on a BMW 330e loaner.
I know I still owe you folks more pictures. As soon as we have a clear day I’ll snap some.

I'm at 8600 miles after 18 months with the Jetta. Not much to report; I still enjoy driving it, even after the test rides I've been taking with @breld and @jpp5862. Not sure that I'll ever go back to a naturally aspirated engine, unless it's a big honkin' V8 in a muscle car. And that will happen only if a large sum of money shows up, via inheritance or lottery winnings.

Interesting note: My son turned 24 last month, and the insurance on the Tacoma went down by 10%. (10% of a substantial figure). Usually, this means a general rate increase is right around the corner..

Nice review! I’ve not driven this version of the C but the slant towards luxury even in sport mode was what I experienced in my brief time with the E cabriolet. Not necessarily a bad thing and I trust what most Mercedes owners are looking for.
The C is great looking. Really makes the current gen 3 series look a little long in the tooth.

I'd rather have a commuter than a garage queen. Maintenance costs would be the issue. I'm curious to see how far the price drops. I feel like the "regular" Boxster & Cayman models aren't particularly in demand. An enthusiast would be looking for an "S" model.

That's a nice car and with the turbo, no IMS worries. Really good on miles, too. The price is right in line with the market as well. A 2007 Carrera n/a would be more in my budget though.
I already passed on two Caymans because of color--one black, the other that dull, dark gray. I'm like a hawk on a wire. I can be very patient and sit there looking for what I want.
I prefer the Cayman because it has two trunks and a hatch!
I like the current S60 and V60. Plus, well sorted by now. No, not quite as fancy tech inside. But if come early summer the new ones are there, meaning blow out deals on the old ones, I can handle hat.

I'd have to up my game a bit to get home that fast. Normally, I call my car a "two-speed Mini". On city streets, I go 44 mph, and on the freeway about 77. That's what it likes to do. I suspect a Cayman or 911 has a higher "sweet spot".
The XF is at the dealer for the Takata recall. So, I have a loaner XE, 2017 AWD supercharged 6 engine (same as in my XF). Dark gray, black interior. ~17k miles, last dude who had it rear-ended another car at low speed, so nice "speed hole" in the front bumper. Haven't had enough seat time (due to work/life, only commuting miles, so I've put a whopping ~35 miles on it) for thorough-ish review, but:
The Good Exterior appearance: As a 7/8 XF, it's a handsome, muscular beast. I don't know that it would stand out in a crowd, but it's a nice design. Steering: immediate, a bit light at low speeds but no slop. Engine: I don't have a heavy foot (well, not always!), but you do have to give the go pedal a bit of a push to, well, go! But, with the proper down force, go it does! Nice exhaust sound, but you do hear it fairly constantly. Handling: Great! No body roll, car goes where pointed with no complaints. MPG: 10-15% above my XF Seat: Comfy, nicely bolstered. Thigh cushion could be just a smidgen longer... Tranny: Smooth, almost imperceptible shifts. I believe the same ZF as in mine.
The Less Good The Interior: A step down in luxury from my XF. Blackness everywhere, some hard plastics. No wood or aluminum, but "piano black" which is not my cup o' tea. Instrumentation is good, but the center infotainment screen washes out in sunlight. It's the next gen from my XF, but not 100% sure it's any leap forward.
The More Less Good Noise: Now, it is a loaner, not sure how early a build, but at least three pronounced creaks and rattles. Road noise/tires drone. Visibility: Thick A/B/C pillars. Rear headrests must be removed, they block 40% of the rear window. If you're claustrophobic, maybe not for you, at least not in all black. The suspension: Holy pogo stick, Batman! We have a few largish speed bumps at work. Going over them reasonably slowly, the front end is OK, but the rear rockets straight up to the stars! Fine on smooth roads, but anything larger than a minor imperfection, you will hear and feel it.
Still on my list, keeping in mind it is a '17 and a service loaner. So, maybe a fresher, '18 would have some of the noise issues worked out...

I AM STUNNED at this car's condition. It looks like it has 13K, not 113K on the odometer. Looks like a lot of expensive repairs & maintenance have been performed (clutch, flywheel, IMS bearing). Let us know what you think.

Wow, that's pretty. The mileage worries me though, because the description is a little light on maintenance work and any needs it may have. At that mileage you could be looking at a lot of very expensive stuff.
That 2007 911 Turbo... $69k seems steep. What does a well-equipped new one go for, $180k or so? 40% residual on an eleven year old car seems a bit much. Maybe I'm way off.
