    I was using a lease calculator to estimate what the lease payments would be for an RS3 and calculator requires putting in fees (registration/acquisition/etc). Any help with what value I should use? I'm in So Cal.
    Also, I was at an Audi dealer yesterday and they mentioned there's an option for 7500mi/year lease. Was curious what the MF/residual for this 3 year lease vs 10k mi/year 3year lease for April. Thanks.

    CA DMV fees: estimate 1.1% of MSRP
    CA doc fee: $80
    Audi acquisition fee: $895

    .00242 MF and 48%/49% residual for 10K/7.5K

    Watch out for dealer markups to the money factor.

    Thanks so much for your help. Sorry but one more question, they tried to push toward 4 year lease and I said no, that's too long and I may as well buy the car if I'm keeping it 4 years or more. They tried to negotiate a 3.5 year lease, saying they can work a better deal than 3 year lease. Is is really the case? Should 3.5 year lease make that much monthly difference vs 3 year? Money factor and residual is (essentially) the same so I can't imagine monthly payment would work out much different unless they're incentivized to push the longer leases

    The difference in payment could be substantial, especially if the discount from MSRP is small.

    Wow, thanks for the fast reply - and man [whistles], these numbers STILL feel high - $700+ payment on a mid $40s vehicle?? That's nuts. Guess I'll be checking out the Guilia. (What are the 24 month/15k numbers, for shts and giggles?)

    Thank you. Great MF but I was expecting the RV to be higher being that’s it’s an S model vs the std A3. 

    If anything, the RV on the "S" models is generally lower. Higher trim level, lower RV.

    Comparatively to the S4 this lease deal is not good. 10% lower residual. Basically same MF. Less lease cash. Interesting how this happens. S3 is 100$ more a month for 36/10k.
