Adding $595 acq. fee, then deducting lease cash and your upfront CAP cost reduction, I get the same payment, so it appears they are using the base MF of .00001.
Take out the CAP reduction, and the payment is $332/mo. w/$1573 due at signing.
Seems reasonable. The only way to get it lower, is to get a lower selling price.
How does this deal look for a CX-5 Sport FWD in 33178. They told me: $25,270 MSRP $0/ down $259 tax in/ month 36/ 12,000 miles $1,088 DAS
They didn’t want to give me a price sheet so I don’t have the breakdown of what exactly they’re doing to get to that price.
What is the selling price?
What does the $1088 cover, specifically?
Without the full picture, we would only be guessing at the strength of your deal, or whether there is room to improve.
Unfortunately no idea on selling price when I asked he told me the MSRP but they were playing with the residual to get that monthly payment. The $1,088 presumably covers dealer fee, tag, taxes. The finance guy told me they were losing $1,400 on the car if that helps. It seemed like a good deal to me at face value but the fact that they’re not fully clear is why I didn’t say yes right away.

Strange - the residual is one part of the deal the dealer can't alter.
Dealers are not in the habit of losing money on transactions - take what they tell you with an entire shaker of salt.
The fact they don't want to be transparent would make me hesitant to do business with them. Engage with another dealer and see if they are willing to be more forthright with the numbers.

Thank you, I figured as much and called him out on it and he just ignored it and moved on, saying the deal was take it or leave it. That dealer has never provided me with a good experience so I’ll look elsewhere!
Looked like APR increased from 0.9% in September to 2.9% in October. 2019 CX5 went into production yesterday and reported will have a 2.5L turbo, ventilated front seats, new LCD gauge cluster, and more. New 2019 will be at least 8 weeks away from dealer lot. Our CRV was totaled so we need a car asap.
What’s the lease numbers and incentives for October?
2018 CX5 GT AWD with Premium and few options 36/12 or 36/10 MSRP $34,365 What would the sale price need to be for me to put 0 down and $300 month with all tax and fees included?
I’ve been quoted these numbers for a 2018 GT AWD PREMIUM
CA 91311 36/12 MSRP $34,365 Residual $19,932 Discount $3,475 Net + fees $30,890 36 payments $336.44 down $1500 $350.61 down $1000 $364.78 down $500 $379.95 down $0
Please advise if I can get down to $300 monthly with $0 down. Thanks

Now the dealer is saying our payments payments will go up slighly on a new lease since the residual value has changed...
